Hello All,
The people I have met here have offered such valuable support through these difficult times. PLease send your prayers for me today as I am going to a 1st marriage guidance session with my husband. I don't know if there is anything can be salvaged between us but I feel I have to at least explore this. I am asking God to give me the strength to get through this and to show me his plan for the future. Every day at the moment feels so hard and so long.

Dearest Jayney,
I was right where you are in my thinking for over a year, the other day me and my wife had our first civil conversation since the split and God showed me in this talk that He IS still in control no matter what I felt or thought.
I'm not saying anything has or will change BUT the door is still open and she even made the comment that we will have to just let God lead us and see where He takes us.....WOW!!! this was a HUGE statement from her but as I said I am not holding my hopes up just allowing God to take the reins.
I have not spoke of this on here due to I didn't want to get ahead of myself but I felt you needed to hear this, there is always hope when you put your trust in God, if this is what you want and God says it is good then it WILL be!!!
God bless you sis and prayers going up for the healing of your life, no matter what God's plan is that is what is best

Thank you. The session was very painful and I don't know yet if there is any way forward. I just feel so sad all the time but God is keeping me going.
I have emailed a local church to see what they have to offer and hopefully it will be for me.
My husband has always been a staunch non believer but yesterday he text me to say he had walked past a local church in the area he has moved to and they are having a jazz night and he is thinking of attending. I was so shocked! God is at work here.
I am struggling to keep going but I keep praying and waiting for God to show me his plan.

keep the faith that He knows best and be prepared to show your trust, yes He IS at work (as always) but even more so with your husband, you said yourself a staunch non believer, sorry I don't know for sure but I'm betting stuborn strongly against believer, I don't know too many of those that consider going into any church for ANY reason, yes He IS at work!
