Guilt is good for long enough to get you to change your behavior. Jesus died for your sins to wash away not only your sin but the guilt from your sin.
IF you will accept the atonement of Christ, then you are forgiven. Now and forever.
Satan uses our past sins and indiscretions to keep us from God. This ongoing guilt is keeping you from God. Satan will continue to throw it at you.
He does that with anything. He does it to me with rather trivial things at times. Anything to get us distracted, unhappy and away from God.
Accept the blood of Jesus.
David murdered a man to get his wife. Paul consented, signed the papers, for the death of early Christians. Jesus SAVES. Jesus forgives.
Accept the forgiveness. Once he has forgiven, he has forgotten. As far as the east is from the west he removes your sin.
Accept the forgiveness that Jesus died to give you. And he not only died, he was beaten and disgraced to allow you to release this junk. Let it go. You cannot take it back. Walk up to Jesus and embrace him. Know he loves YOU. You, just as you are. AS you are.
And also, Satan is keeping you from being the mother you were meant to be. Don't let him. Praise God repeatedly whenever this guilt comes on you. Sing Christian songs. Thank Jesus over and over.
And you will be better. But you have to be faithful to the praise. Because the memories and guilt attacks will come. But they are coming from Satan. Not God.
Hugs.
