WHO IS GOD?
Some believe God is some unexplainable force that creates and ties everything together, not like an intelligent being, but almost like the gravitational pull that keeps the planets in perfect alignment with one another allowing them to benefit one another but not colliding into each other.
Some believe God is the ultimate ruthless ruler very much similar to that of an ancient roman emperor, or Egyptian pharaoh that makes laws and rules at their will that all others must follow or they will simply be put to death with no questions asked. Ruling through fear.
Then there are those that don’t believe in a God. They believe that the existence of life is made from an accidental explosion that blew everything into perspective mysteriously creating the universe with absolute perfection where the planets are the perfect size and have the perfect gravitational pull to keep the location of the planets in a perfect alignment so that a billion years ago their location can be calculated and the prediction of their location four billion years from now can also be easily calculated. They believe in Karma, what goes around comes around. They also believe in simple dumb luck.
BUT THE TRUTH IS
The relationship between us and God is very much like that of the relationship between a two year old child and their loving father which is a sacred one made of the purest of love that any human can understand and with the strongest form of trust that man can ever have in another. A child relies on their father for guidance, and protection. The father of a child will give his life to provide for his child, giving it food when it hungers and water when it thirsts. Provide clothing so they don’t have to run around naked, and a roof to shelter them from the cold rain and the hot scorching sun. He will lay his life down to save his child from any danger.
The relationship between us and God is very much like that of shepherd and his sheep. The sheep trust and follow the shepherd as he leads them to fields with rich grain and grass to eat and streams to drink. He also protects them from wolves and other predators as well as evil people that would mean them harm. He keeps track of all his sheep so that not one strays from the herd and gets lost. I see GOD exactly like the father of a two year old child and the loving protecting shepherd. The relationship you have with God should be most literally the most sacred and precious relationship you have with anyone. No one should come before God because you are like that two year old that always needs to turn to God for guidance and protection. He is the only one who can give you the answer you are looking for to the questions you have.
