Sorry if this is a long post. Would love to share it with you all though and find some comfort and look to Jesus.

How Big Is My God?

Image

Well I have to say, my God, He's pretty BIG!

When I think of how big my Lord, my God, my Father in Heaven is, I think of what the Lord Himself proclaimed. “Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where isthe place of my rest?” Isaiah 66:1

Matthew Henry quoted, “Heaven is the throne of His glory and government; there He sits, infinitely exalted in the highest dignity and dominion, above all blessing and praise. The earth is His footstool, on which He stands, over-ruling all the affairs of it according to his will. If God has so bright a throne, so large a footstool, where then is the house they can build unto God, that can be the residence of His glory, or where is the place of His rest?”

The last time you found yourself wandering just how big God is, I mean come on, if the earth is His footstool, then He is very capable of holding the world in the palm of His hands.

“O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand....” Psa.95:1-7

“For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand....”

Can you hear the Lord speaking this to your hearts. How many of us are really listening to His Words that He is speaking to us. Jesus, He is our Shepherd and we are His sheep and He said, “My sheep hear my voice...” John 10:27.

God wants us to know how big He is, He wants us to know the world is in His hands, there is nothing that is to great for Him (Mark 10:27).

Would like to share something that the Lord has revealed unto me, and I have to tell you It is beautiful!!!

“...Behold, a throne was set in heaven, and onesat on the throne.
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there wasa rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.” Rev 4:2-3

Look at what the Lord has to say about His Throne.

“Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool,...” Acts 7:49
Can you imagine, Heaven is the Lord's Throne and the earth is the footstool and round about the Throne is a rainbow, one of its colors is like unto an emerald.

Check this out...

It's all part of the Northern Lights also called the Aurora Borealis.

This isn't the only color though....

It's a Rainbow of colors in Heaven, and to just think Heaven is God's Throne.

I don't care what sience says, it's God's Creation, and here, when one is able to catch a glimpse of these lights, God is giving them a glimpse at the rainbow around about His Throne.

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Rev.5:13

We serve an Infinite God, who is everywhere at the same time. He knows your thoughts and he sees everything, the good and the bad. Nothing can be hid from His eyes. He knows what you need, and what needs to be done. Nothing is to small that he over looks it, nothing is to big that He can handle. Matter of fact, He already gone before you to see the way. The question is though, Who is trusting and leaning on Him? Who is bowing before His feet daily? Who is sitting still and listening to what He has to say. Who is walking daily with the Lord?

As the Day of the Lord draws nearer and nearer, Jesus wants us focused on Him, cause when that day comes, He doesn't want no one looking back as Lot's wife did. Jesus wants His sheep, our hearts, our eyes, our ears solely fixed on Him. We have been forewarned of the things that would be coming down upon the world and we have already begun to see it happening right before our very eyes. Yet there are them who's hearts are failing them for looking at the things coming upon the earth. Soon the heavens are going to be shaken, who's ready? Jesus is very much ready to come and bring and end to the sin and corruption, the suffering and pains. Jesus is ready to come reign on earth and He wants His sheep with Him. He has called each of us to come and have a relationship with Him. Ask yourself, I'm I ready? Is my relationship with the Lord as it should be? I'm I trusting in the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind? It doesn't matter where you are at this very moment, you are before the Lord. For Heaven is His Throne and the earth is His footstool. The Lord is infinite in all His Ways, His Perfection, His Wisdom, His Love, for we serve an infinite God.

Luke 10:38-42

Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into
a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received
him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary,
which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him,
and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve
alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
And Jesus answered and said unto her,
Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled
about many things: But one thing is needful: and
Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall
not be taken away from her.

All honesty we should all be more like Mary. Mary found her treasure, and that was Jesus and the Precious Word which Jesus was there sharing. She let nothing stand in her way to hear Jesus speak His Word unto them. She sat at His feet and listened quietly and carefully. Martha on the other hand, was hurrying about doing this and doing that, letting everything over take her thoughts away from what Jesus is saying.

Guess What? A day isn't going by that not one person isn't already running around the feet of Jesus. For Heaven is His Throne and the earth is His footstool. But question is, who's stopping long enough to sit at His feet and listen to what He has to share?

Sorry to say, but we all like Martha at times. Jesus is steadily calling us to come closer to Him and to listen to Him. He so ready to share so much.

Lord Bless you all dearly

Jesus calls us...continually...most think of Him calling us before we are saved...but even after we are saved...He is calling us to soak up more of Him and who He is...and how big is God? Bigger than the human eye can behold...but not bigger than the human heart can hold :) He lives within...and He is what makes each day worth living.

luv ya
