Christ is risen and you are loved

Mark 16:6-7 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Tell the disciples and Peter was the command of the angel to the two Mary's visiting the empty tomb of Christ. It is necessary to see the wording of the angel, he could have said to the two ladies, go and tell the disciples, Jesus is not here, he is risen, or go and tell the ministry team, the leader is no longer around, or go and tell the volunteer task force that they are scheduled for an appointment in Galilee with the manager of ministry. However, these were not the words used by the angel, the angel was very precise in pointing out Peters name when speaking to the women inside the sepulchre. The tomb was empty, Jesus was gone and life for many people had changed especially the disciples and Peter. It is very possible that Peter was overcome with grief not only due in part from the death of Christ but also from his denial of him. Pilate's courtyard proved to be a cold, lonesome and gloomy place for Peter the night of Jesus trial. He had previously professed to Christ that he would die with him and that he was the Son of God. Later in the garden, he fell asleep and woke up ready to sword fight. The Roman band of soldiers led by the son of perdition came for Christ and Judas betrayed him with a kiss on the cheek. Peter in fury begins swinging his sword whacking off the ear of the son of the high priest. He followed from afar behind the mob that apprehended the Lord that night. He warmed himself by the devils fire, he was intimidated by a very young girl into saying, I know not the man
