Matt:7 21-23
Hello Wonderfuls!
Blessings!
I have wondered about the interpretation of the verses below for some time. But notice the "I never knew you part." If we have not the Spirit of Christ we are none of His. It is the same here as in Matthew 25. However, here in chapter 7 I believe we see a preview of the false Christs talked about in Matthew 24, although here in chapter 7 the context is of false prophets. Real prophets have the Spirit of God and the love of God in them, are led by the Spirit of God and do love things which are His will. They also have a spiritual understanding of truth which sets them apart from many others.
I remember years ago when I was a baby in Christ Jesus seeking the sincere milk of the word, I would listen to a radio station that carried the programs of many ministers. Early on after listening to all of the ministers in a day's time only the teaching of Kenneth Hagin spoke to my spirit because he was a spiritual man. Many others taught the Bible but did not teach the spiritual truths of the Bible because they were not spiritual men. And then there was one minister I heard that sent a chill down my spine when I heard his voice giving words of knowledge. Later on that man was discovered to be faking.

21Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
