God is at work. Yesterday the Associate Pastor came and said the elders got together and felt God leading them to tell me about starting a small group for widows. I guess there is more in the church then I knew.
We would have a Bible study and also discuss how we can get through this time in our lives of great loss.
While we were talking, he mentioned to me the sovereignty of God. God is not controlled by this world. He is all powerful. He is in control.
My husbands death is part of that plan. Maybe this widows group is part of that plan. Please pray about this group.
Also, things I didn't know, but there is a group at church who have been lead by God to pray for my son who has the Heroin addiction. So far, he has brushed all attempts of these people off. But they are praying that his heart will be opened to accept their help. Since his Dads death he has been depressed and drank more. I was worrying about it then the Associate Pastor (Harry) told me about what was happening in the background. It just showed me that there are many things we do not know. God is working in the background. Sometimes we find out about it and sometimes we don't but He is there.
He will never leave us or forsake us.

amen, God is in control and sometmes we ask why God? Its difficult but im learning myself that i have to trust that He knows best and will turn for the good.

I pray God will give u insight and vision for this widows group at yr church if it is His will. i also pray for yr son that God will break the chains of addiction and will open his heart to those who want nothing more than the best for him. i will continue to lift yall up in prayer sis. Love u dearly
