August 22 - Exceeding Our Expectations

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"
when we give our problems over to God, we are blessed. We might have to give them over daily but the blessings will come. He has promised this.
But He is also able to exceed our own expectations of how He will answer our prayers.
This it states in Ephesians 3:20 is "according to the power that works in us."
The Holy Spirit is there within us as Christians to work through us.
Our power comes from God. Not ourselves. I have to remind myself this.
As a Mother, Wife, Grandmother, I am always trying to "fix" everything.
We nurturing ones have a hard time letting go of our loved ones and letting God work.
But if we do, daily, He will exceed anything we could have ever done in ourselves.
This days Bible verse is for me big time. As I contemplate this coming Mondays appointment with the heart specialist and Fridays surgery for the breast cancer. Also worrying how will my family deal with things without me being able to do things for them while I recoup.
God is in control. God is in control. If I have to repeat that to myself all day long I will.
He has the ability to exceed above all that we ask.
