Fighting the Good Fight of Faith

Hi JCSM, Mac, Pine, All,
Blessings!
Fighting the good fight of faith is every Christian's fight. Faith has many enemies, the foremost being wicked spirits, but our natural fleshly inclinations and believing human teachings about faith can be just as damaging to our walk if we are not careful. We are called into fellowship, (unison, agreement, harmony, one accord), with each other, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (We are called to be one with the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and each other). And we are to be separate from the world, the flesh, and the devil through our love actions and belief in the Bible. Faith in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit works through our belief in the Word of God and that faith works by love.
Who do we love more? Do we love our Heavenly Dad enough to take Him at His Word, or do we love some other saying, those other voices that are not in harmony with His Word? Unfortunately, more often than not, we cave. And why not, with such teachings as "IF God Wills" and "All That Ended with the Disciples" being knocked about the various denominations, we can just say what they say even if what they say is not representative of what Jesus or His disciples said and taught.
I have some tough things to receive from the Lord that I have been praying about and believing for, A Long Time. And this teaching/preaching is just as much for me as it is anyone that wants to build up their faith. I was praying earlier today about one of those things I have been believing for. And the Lord spoke to me and said, "I will say whatever you say." Well, you know the Lord ever lives to make intercession for us...And James tells us we are not going to get anything from the Father, wavering, so what good are teachings that allow us to doubt what the Bible says????? In other words, our words need to be scriptural faith filled words, agreeing with Jesus, the Apostles and Prophets.
I do not know about you, but I am going to keep on knocking, keep on seeking, keep on asking, and keep on believing until I get whatsoever that I have prayed for. What about you?
I say that I believe I have received "whatsoever that I have prayed for" because in so doing I am in agreement with Jesus and the Father scripturally in many places of the New Testament. I particularly like Matt: 18:19-20, where, if any two of us agree as touching anything we should ask , it will be done for us by our Father in Heaven. For where 2 or more are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Jesus didn't plant doubt in our hearts about issues of prayer. He planted faith. He didn't say, you might receive answers to your prayers if you pray in agreement. In His teaching on faith, in Mark 11:22-24, He said, "Believe that you receive and you shall have...."
In John 14:13, Jesus said, (concerning spiritual works), "And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do.
In John 15:7, Jesus said, (concerning fruit bearing), "You shall ask what you will, and it will be done to you."
I John 3:22. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
I John 5:15. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
I do not know about you, but I look for scriptures in the Bible that build my faith up, and I feed on them. I confess them. I believe them. Doubt is the enemy. Unbelief is the enemy. I know I am not going to get anything wavering. Jesus is my high priest. He ever lives to make intercession for me. He says before the Father what I say. If I confess what he has said in his word in support of my prayer, I love God and my bothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, I know that I am on good ground, and the Father will give me what I ask, because Jesus is right there to make it good.
There are many many more scriptures in the Bible that will build up our faith. What are your favorites? It would be great if you would share them.
Blessings!
