The Exceeding Riches of His Grace
Hello Mac, JCSM, and All,
Blessings
Sometimes Satan backs us into a corner. He overwhelms us by attacking our health, our finances, and our feelings. He tells us how worthless we are and how hopeless and helpless we are to do anything about the circumstances that he has put us in. In short, we feel condemned.
We try and look upward, but we feel so worthless and hopeless that it is no use. For how could the God of all creation possibly care about our problems when it seems we have made so many mistakes????
The reason is because He is our Dad. We are His children. And He always longs to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. KJV (Ephesians. 2:7). In fact we are told to go boldly to the thrown of grace to receive help and mercy in time of need.
And we should, especially when we feel the least worthy to do so, and here is why. By definition, He is Love. It is all a simple matter of perspective. We have to see Him in the light of His love. And if we will do that our feelings will be transformed from fear to faith.
Paul teaches us what love really is in I Corinthians chapter 13. Agape! And that is who our Heavenly Dad is. He is love..Agape! Dad's love suffers long and is patient and kind, never envies or boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily, is not conceited or arrogant and inflated with pride, it is not rude or unmannerly, and does not act unbecomingly. Dad's love does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self seeking. It is not touchy or fretful or resentful. It takes no account of the evil done to it.. It pays no attention to a suffered wrong. It does not rejoice in injustice or unrighteousness, (Satan), but rejoices when right and truth prevail. (Our Dad). Love bears up under anything and everything that comes; Is ever ready to believe the best of every person. ({(Our Dad sees us as Jesus because that is who we are in the earth. We are the body of Christ!)} Our Dad's love for us is fadeless under all circumstances, and endures {(our problems) everything} without weakening. His Love never fails us, never fades out, becomes obsolete or comes to an end. Its our Dad's love.
It is all a matter of perspective. We need to see our Dad in the light, know how much He loves us, and realize He has already sent help our way.
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.

Hello Saint
God bless you this day.
Thank you for sharing His love with me. I really needed the tender reminder today.
Isaiah 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
Love,
Mack

You are most welcome! You have no idea how it thrills me that you got a little touch from the "manna" Dad dropped on my eyelids this morning.
Blessings!
Love ya, Den.
