You know Childs I kinda have the same goal as you do and have pretty much cut out sugary foods the past 6 weeks...
I am the opposite after working out but something I read somewhere is that it is good to have a lil snack before and after working out. I usually eat a piece of fruit, some yogurt or whole wheat crackers after working out. And drinking a lot of water may also help your hunger after the workout as well as replenish you.
And yes, Goldie, substituting something for the habit is important! And turning more to God can be the substitution
Any more ideas folks?
Love you all dearly,
Susi

awww childs its always a challenge i think for us to change habits. We get used to it and miss it when it is not there. Instead of looking at it as failing that day or that meal.. maybe just PLAN on having something you really like a couple times a week. I think part of this is allowing yourself to have something you want and if you PLAN it, then you won't feel guilty and it will be all good!!!! Just my thoughts!! U r doing so awesome

Hello Childscry
What is it about being fat that you "hate" so much? I can't believe that you hate other people that are over weight, am I correct?
Remember that one of the fruit of The Holy Spirit is self-control. Seems that is something that we all need, and come up short on our own, or else God would not have provided for it through The Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (23) Meekness, temperance (self-control): against such there is no law.
While the Lord is not concerned with what we look like, He does want us to take care of our body because it is the temple of The Holy Spirit. Who better to coach you in setting goals and directing you into the place where He wants you and how He sees you?
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
God bless you, Childscry.
In His love,
Mack
