The "Mystery" of Israel's Blindness; Joseph in Mic
Hello JCSM, Mac, Pine and All,
Blessings!
(Amplified Version) Romans 11:25-26
Lest you be self-opinionated (wise in your own conceits), I do not want you to miss this hidden truth and mystery, brethren: a hardening (insensibility), has temporarily befallen a part of Israel to last until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has com in. And so all Israel will be saved.
I hope that you remember that Mac and I have been looking at how things played out in microcosm over in the Old Testament tend to have a much greater fulfillment in the New Testament, (macrocosm), if not in the current sense, then certainly in the prophetic sense. For example, the last thing we looked at in the Old Testament from the standpoint of microcosm was the Tower of Babel.
I know that I, for one thing, have always been in "awe" of the horrible things that have happened to the people of Israel; And for a second thing, I have pretty much skipped over what Paul has said to us about those horrible things. But those things Paul has taught us about Israel are a part of the mystery of the gospel, and we need to take a look at what he has said.
When I think about an example in the Old Testament of just how all Israel might be saved during the tribulation, I think of the story of Joseph, Joseph himself being a type of Christ. Joseph was thrown into a pit, then lifted up and hidden away from His brothers in Egypt ( a type of heaven on Earth during that day), for a long time. Jesus was crucified, then lifted up from the dead and hidden away in Heaven from his people Israel for a long time. Joseph was given all authority in Egypt. Jesus was give all authority in Heaven. When it seemed Israel would perish from hunger, they heard that there was plenty of grain in Egypt for bread. The Kingdom of Heaven is like seed, and the body of Jesus, bread. During a 7 year time of great famine, Israel got their bread from Egypt, even though they didn't know the one who had given it to them was their brother. The Book of Revelation says that 144,000 of the tribes of Israel will be sealed during the time of the 7 year tribulation. ( I believe special provisions will be given to them during the tribulation). Joseph finally revealed himself to his family, and gave them an inheritance in the land of Egypt. Jesus ultimately will reveal himself to all Israel. They will mourn, but Jesus will give them a place of inheritance in his Kingdom. The Egpytians, representing us gentiles, already had their place in Egypt, a type of heaven, when all Israel arrived. We gentiles will already be in Heaven, (raptured), when Jesus reveals himself to his people Israel.
Well, praise the name of Jesus! All Israel shall be saved! Glory to you Father! Thank you for your wonderful Word!
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.

Hello Saint and Everyone
God bless you this day.
Amen, Saint. Amen
Father has had a plan from before the beginning of time. Blessed Jesus, Son of God, Brother.
Isaiah 27:12-13
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Glory to God, in the name of Jesus.
God bless you all.
Love,
Mack
