Noonday Devotion
Welcome to Noonday Devotion
It is with much joy, that I welcome you to Noonday. Why Noonday devotion you may ask?
Well we have Devotions for morning and evening, but none for mid day.. well none that I have heard of.
There is another reason and that is because I am different and unique.. in fact there is only one of me.. just as there is only one of you - we are all different and uniquely made by God who loves us so much.
Please forward the devotions and please take time to read the featured links.
Thanks
Love you all
From your brother in Christ

Hebrews 1
3 He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty WORD of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high.
In this day and age, there is lots of debate on Who Jesus is. The writer of Hebrews, whether it was the Apostle Paul or someone else, knows exactly, who Jesus is and makes this clear, right at the start of this book.
The book of Hebrews has as one of it's themes the High priestly status of the Lord. Another theme is that the sacrifice of Calvary that was so amazing and beyond our comprehension.
In future days, many will come and say that they are the Christ, but here in this verse, the writer says that Jesus is the sole expression of God's glory. We must never be led astray by people stating they have some revelation from God and that they speak with the same authority of Jesus, they are teaching a false and fraudulent gospel my friends.
I just love what the writer says about Jesus.
I truly hate it, when people used the name of Jesus as a cuss word, the one who holds the very universe in His hand. It should hurt our hearts, that anyone should say bad things about our saviour and glorious Lord.. how dare they.
I wonder if the writer had been on the mount of transfiguration?. He would of surely heard about that wonderful occasion.. amen. It talks of radiance.. it talks of purity and majesty, that is what Jesus is all about.
Jesus is our closest friend..our saviour, but he is brilliantly majestic.. amen. One day we are going to be awed and surrounded by the awesome majestic purity, that the Father and Son have
What Jesus did at Calvary was totally astounding and mind blowing.. Amen? The one who holds the whole world in his hands gave up so much and took upon Himself the form of a man.
We need to tell the world, who He really is... Amen.
Let us never lose sight of who HE really is.. just as the writer to the Hebrews said He WAS AND IS!.. AMEN
God bless you
Keith
Guest Devotion by Richard Baxter
Infant Christians?
(Richard Baxter, "Directions to Weak Christians")
The church is full of feeble, unstable,
wavering, infant Christians!
How few Christians keep any
constant watch upon their hearts?
How many Christians feed on covetous,
proud, malicious or lustful thoughts, and
have no great concern over it?
Where are those Christians who
acquainted with the life of faith?
How few Christians can use their
prosperity in riches, health, and
reputation with a heavenly mind?
How little hearty love do most
Christians have to Christ?
Alas, how much pride prevails with many
that seem to be good Christians?
How worldly, how closed-handed, and
eager for gain, are many Christians
who say that they despise the world?
How few are the Christians that are
eminent in humility, meekness and self
denial; that are willing to be nothing
so that Christ may be all in all?
How many Christians live as men devoted to God?
How many Christians live with the world
under their feet, and their hearts above
with God, making him their delight?
How many Christians long to be with Jesus,
to be rid of sin, see his blessed face, and
live in his love and praises?
Where is the man who is eminent in
humility, patience and self-denial?
Where are those who have crucified
the flesh with its desires and lusts?
What a lamentable case it is, that the church
should consists of so many infant Christians!
