Walking in all our Lord's Blessings

Blessings! Blessings! Blessings! Oh, how many of us need to walk in what our Lord has provided for us oh, so, very, very much more than at the present time!!!

*AngelYellow* Greetings! Cool Christians!

The Arc of the Covenant is a vessel described in the Bible as containing the Tablets of Stone on which the Ten Commandments were inscribed, along with Aaron's rod and manna.

It is a most amazing thing to me to see how God himself has built Himself an Arc of the Covenant in each of our human hearts. Our hearts are His mercy seat. The blood of Jesus covers us there. And it is out of each of our hearts that the Word of God comes, for that is where God has written upon us His word, the hidden manna, and the place where the rod of Aaron is stored, through which miracles occur. The greatest miracle, of course, is our new birth, a circumcision of the heart which allows each of us to produce the good seed of the Word of God. Awesome! Just Awesome!

But what about temporal blessings? In the New Testament we learn that the blessings of Abraham come to us through faith. And we also learn in the New Testament that we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. In the Old Testament we learn there are many blessings to those that keep the law. This message is a review of the blessings our Lord has blessed us with, and how it is that we appropriate them through faith apart from the law.

Father, we praise you today, worship you, and give you glory. Father, we love and adore you, we thank you for your Holy name. Wheww! Glory to you Father! We just shout out to joy for your presence in each one of us through Christ Jesus our Lord and your Holy Spirit!

As I was meditating in the Spirit the other night on the subject of God's blessings within us and upon us, such as, His wonderful Spirit of grace, a heart full of His love, a mind on guard against doing evil, how we produce the good fruit of His Word which adds many children to His Kingdom so that our seed is as Abraham's seed, of Christians, as the stars of the heavens, because of the one seed in us, Jesus our Lord, I was reminded that temporal blessings also belong to us. And those temporal blessings provide that all of our physical needs of health and wealth accompany our walk here on this planet. "The Problem!" How do we appropriate them?????????

With interest, I reviewed what Paul said about the word of faith, Romans 10, and compared that with a similar scripture in Deuteronomy 30. I also found a link in Deuteronomy 30 to Jeremiah 31. In other words, I found scriptures that link the blessings of the old covenant to the blessings of the new, without the accompanying curses of the law. And I propose the following argument: We are entitled to all the blessings of the old covenant through faith because Jesus has fulfilled the law sin and death, making void the curse of the law, and fulfilling in us His promise to cause us to keep His commandment of love. Therefore, we are entitled to be and have all of the following: (1). All spiritual blessings in heavenly places. (2). All the blessings of Abraham. (3). All the blessings of Israel. And they come to us by believing in our heart that we have them, and making confession of these truths verbally.

I submit the scriptures that I studied below for you to study if you wish.

Love, In Christ Jesus, Dennis.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is RICH unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
For this commandment which I command thee this day, it [is] not hidden from thee, neither [is] it far off.

Deu 30:12 It [is] not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

Deu 30:13 Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

Deu 30:14 But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Jeremiah 31:31-34

"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Jeremiah 31:31-34

3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.

6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

7 The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

8 The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

9 The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways of His love. 11 The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.

12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. You will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. 6 The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Hello Mac and All,
Blessings!
*AngelYellow*

Thank you so much! Am so glad to be back and to have something to share that the Lord has given me. This last post was the most difficult to understand I have ever shared, as it has come in parts, and I have had to dig deeper into the word than ever before in order to clearly see how it applies to New Covenant Christians. But glory hallelujah! I see it now! And I will share the understanding in my next post shortly.

Blessings!
L,ICJ, Dennis.
