What's new with you?

Postby Whisperingsprings » Wed May 05, 2010 4:53 pm

Hi everyone,

I just thought I would post a what's new topic. Sometimes it's nice to live vicariously through someone else for a moment. Well, at least it is for me. ;)

Sooo, anyone want to play????

I'll start: I have worked 3days, had little sleep, and flown coast to coast to pick up my boys. We are home safe and sound. We have little league games etc scheduled for the week, woot. They kids are fun to watch. especially the little ones.

God was most wonderful as usual. woot! Because, I had to deal with a couple of melt downs. It all worked out okay. And I'm very grateful to God for helping me get through those moments. I have to go pick up the kids now . . . so take care.

whisp, i think this is a great idea, posting short simple things that are going on in our lives, this helps us know that someone is remembering that we exsist. spring has finally showed up here. lots of baby moose around, driving the dog nuts. fish are starting to move around in the lakes and the salmon should be in our rivers soon. am working three part time jobs as well as getting packed for moving back to lower 48. 2500 miles of driving. God has blessed us with the ability to earn the trip money and the strength to get it done. well, thats all for now.........wl

wl, that sounds great. :)

How many baby moose have you seen? Are they beautiful and curious to look at? I live out west in the contiguous US. So we don't have the same wildlife. My neighbors have seen baby rattlesnakes!! Oh well, that and the occassional squirrel.

Kittens are being born all over the place. They are cute. However, I prefer dogs over cats these days. The saying "sooo many cats so few recipes" kinda applies to me these days. I had a bad cat and things haven't really been the same. Our dog is delightful though.

The weather is beautiful today. We are in shorts and t-shirts. The kids are at ball games with their da. The days are getting longer. Soon it will be time for me to buy water balloons for the water balloon fights. ;) We have several little boys in our neighborhood and they are all around the same age.

spring

Postby Guest » Fri May 21, 2010 2:28 am

we have seen i think six baby moose this spring, they are cute and curious, but mama not very friendly so we dont get close. its in the 60s here so every thing is finally blooming. the snow is mostly gone except in the mountains around us. very beautiful here. our dog is a bischon-friese so he only thinks he is a big dog. we had a cat that was paranoid schitzophrenic(sp) it would sit and stare at a blank wall, hid every time i entered the room, jumped at every noise and would stare at us from under a chair. we are hoping to see some bear cubs this spring, there are supposed to be more this year, because of the mild winter,ha ha hardly ever got down past -20. well...gotta go............seeya..........wl
