Day 6

I know what I am ordained to do. I work with children. Children do not have a JUNIOR or Baby Holy Spirit, they have the same Holy Spirit that adults do. They themselves are immature, but He is not. I work very hard on the words I use and how they "receive" them. I teach a real and loving relationship with God as the foundation for everything I do and have been doing this for 25 years. My vision has always been that no child ever dreamed of growing up and becoming an drunk, a prisoner, an abuser or one being abused. With Holy Spirits direction and help we "deposit' His words and His plans and purposes within them, knowing that you may not see fruit now, but the seeds that He will use later have been planted. BUT, with the pursuit of "nickels and noses" being the primary goal for the "institutional church", I find that I have been put out to pasture. The mindset is puppets, clowns and lots of bling. Entertainment will never change our children, only a real and living relationship with Him, and I will not invest my life in it. I've helped another church and can serve there, but the "adult church" has way to many self inflicted problems. It is not a good church for my family. I have been allowed to serve in childrens ministry in the past (with it understood that I do not have to attend or be a member of their church) this is an option. I need your prayers 2 Cor 4:5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. Jimf

Hello Jimf :)

God bless you this day.

After I read your post yesterday, I started to recommend a book for you to read, but I hesitated for some reason. *dunno* Well, wouldn't you know it...as I read your post today, AGAIN, I got the blessed nudge, (Thank You Holy Spirit) so I'm following through this time. *BigGrin*

Book Title: "So You Don't Want To Go To Church Anymore...an unexpected journey" Authors: Wayne Jacobsen and Dave Coleman. It is just a little book (189 pages), and I bought it 4 or 5 years ago at Walmart. Please do not let the title alarm you. I was so blessed by that little book, and I think you will be blessed by it, too.

Prayers continue to rise to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you, Jimf.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
