God places children in our care...whether they are our own children, our grandchildren, our neices, our nepehws, our friend's children, our church member's children, the Oasis teens....we are all called to show God's children the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I look around today at the world...and I see so many children with no guidance at all in their life. They don't have anyone sharing the Truth with them.

I see our children here at the Oasis...the ones that God sends here to learn and grow...the ones He places in our care...the ones He wants us to Guide His direction...so they in turn are equipped to reach out to other children...and I think...are we doing our part?

Gonna throw out a few thoughts...for our children here at the Oasis...in order to build the teen rooms...they like to have entertainment....so maybe teen movies in the teen rooms? or what about everyone playing Whack a Groundhog on the games in chat...and seeing who can whack the most in each round....it's great fun...and silly...and the teens would like it I know....and maybe some teen music videos in the teen room...such as Toby Mac and Disciple and such?...and maybe having a room at the top called Teen retreat...just like the Oasis retreat but for teens only....

If I'm way off base here please let me know...but I'm just thinking we are missing a big part of keeping the teens here...and was thinking on some ideas.
