The Mighty Power in the Law of the Spirit of Life
Hello Christianity Oasis, All...
Blessings from God the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
In weeks past we have studied the 7 Spirits of God and gained some understanding of how they function in the Earth. Now we come to a Spirit of God not necessarily numbered in the 7 Spirits on the one hand, but on the other hand He is. Although not specifically discussed in Ephesians chapter one, the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is alluded to in this scripture, Eph. 1.19 posted below.
Verse 19 describes the great power God created in Christ Jesus when He raised Him from the dead. It is the same great power we saw in operation in the raising of our Lord's two witnesses. Please note that the power God placed in Christ Jesus when He raised Him from the dead is made available to us through the combined operation of a few of God's seven Spirits as I am about to describe them to you.
What are those few Spirits below you ask? The first one mentioned below is the Spirit of Wisdom,..the Spirit of Wisdom is given to us that we might see ourselves as we see our Lord...that is, as a future depiction of us being raised from the dead and made into the likeness of our Lord...that is, glorified...We begin with Eph.1:17.
Eph.1 [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom...and revelation...and of the knowledge of God.
With the Spirit of Wisdom we find the Spirit of Revelation in operation, the Spirit of Revelation being the Spirit of God, the first of the seven Spirits we discussed a while back, that Spirit being Jesus our Lord and Savior, also known to us as the Spirit of God, as it is He that has been made a light of revelation to us. (See Luke.2.22)
We also receive the Spirit of Knowledge of our Lord. And who better to teach us about our Heavenly Dad than our Lord Jesus Himself? We have learned that the Spirit of Knowledge of God gives us insight into that which is happening right now. Please note that as you are reading this, as of right now, God's Spirit of Knowledge who is also under the direction of our Lord Jesus, is teaching you more about God our Heavenly Dad...for it is He that desires you to receive the one Spirit of His, our Lord Jesus, who commands the 7 Spirits of God sent forth into all the Earth. Please remember, we learned in a past article that it is the Spirit of Knowledge that shows us things happening right now.
Rev.5 [6] And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth
We have discussed the working of the Spirit of Understanding as well. One might say that it is the Spirit of Understanding that teaches us how things work. It isn't much help to us to have all the pieces of a clock spread out before us and not be able to see how to put them together to make the clock work. The Spirit of Understanding is given to us in Eph.1.18 below that we might be able to see how to put all the pieces of this spiritual puzzle together to help us stand strong in the faith.
Eph. 1. [18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Last of all we come to God's Spirit of Might. Although not specifically named in the scripture below we see Him at work in verse 19. In verse 19 our eyes have been opened to see God's Spirit of Might at work in Christ Jesus...the Spirit of Might in this case being interpreted to be the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, for we learned in Revelation 11.11 that it was the Spirit of Life of God that also raised the two witnesses of our Lord Jesus from the dead.
Eph.1. [19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power...(20) which He wrought in Christ when...
All together Eph.1.17-19 should give us sufficient incentive to ask for that which God is so eager to supply us with, His Spirit of...
Eph.1 [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
[18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
[19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
[20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
[21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
[22] And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
[23] Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Blessings!
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
