Christianity Oasis Forum

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Hi JCSM, Deetu, Lionhearted, Mack, Angeltears, All..

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

Thank you all so much for your love, faith, and obedience to share your "LIGHT" on His powerful ways! It so amazes me that at just the right time our Lord witnesses a truth to us that we need oh, so very, very, much to know and understand! Deetu, your post was meat for me.

And I do pray oh, so very, very much, that this post is meat for you and glorifies the Lord!

Here is what happened to me this past Saturday. I got myself into the center of the Lord's will for me on that day. I knew I was doing exactly His right thing, at the right place, at the right time. The enemy knew this too. But the Lord shared with me before I got busy doing what He wanted that His gift of discerning of spirits was going to operate for me while I walked in His perfect will.

Pretty soon a couple came and sat across from me and began doing their thing here in this library, and while doing it had a conversation that disturbed my concentration. This, the Lord showed me, was from the enemy. They continued on for perhaps 25 minutes then left.

Then, it wasn't long before a couple of gentlemen, behind me and to my left began having a conversation. Again, this, the Lord showed me was from the enemy. A while later they left.

I returned to my assignment. Suddenly, my best friend appears seated next to me on my right and asks me to go with him on what he deemed a mission. I went. My bad. I disobeyed our Dad. See here..I knew I was operating in His perfect will, but when my brother in the Lord showed up, I failed to discern his presence as being sent by the enemy because, after-all, he was my brother in the Lord. I'm learning!

I spent the next 3 hours with him on a wild goose chase that landed no birds and the afternoon ended with my dear brother bashing me for wearing cologne that made him nauseated.

I gave him a love response for the head bashing, but I went home dirty. Here it is Thursday. I have spent the past 5 days praying for the dear brother without much relief. This morning, however, came the break through.

A few weeks ago this brother in the Lord of mine gave me a neck scarf. I received it thankfully and wore it a few times, but it kept falling down when I would hang it up. The first time it fell down I washed it. The second time it fell down I tossed it in with my other dirty clothes and left it there until this morning.

Now here is the amazing thing. The Lord wouldn't let me wash that scarf with my other clothes this morning, but had me cut it in half and throw it in the trash. When I did that I felt clean again with our Lord's cleansing. I also felt restored to my brother and able once again to love him as the Lord.

Today I have a little more wisdom about the wiles of the devil, and will be much more careful around my brother. More importantly, when operating in our Lord's perfect will, that is when, from now on, I will be most vigilant and watchful that I do not turn to the right hand or left until I have His witness in my spirit that His work for me on that day is done.

Would you like to know what that perfect will thing was I was doing when I turned to the right? Reading Watchman Nee's teaching on how to walk in the perfect will of the Lord. I hope you now understand why the devil was so intent on turning me aside, and how it was the Lord led me to break that word curse off my neck.

Love ya all in Christ Jesus our Lord. Abba, Father, Den.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
