Surround myself with positive, God things. This is a great idea I have only practiced a little. I have a letter on my fridge to remind me to follow the Lord but that is it. I need to place reminders in my car, at work, in the mirror, in my living room I love the fact that the Christ came to me and saved me and I need to show it more. I have been keeping out negative thoughts and actions to keep from being depressed and it has been working. I try not to talk about my divorce and try to think about fun positive things as much as possible.

Ed_matthews,
When I was doing the steps and trying to surround myself with positive things I went to the local Thrift Store and found some pretty cool pictures and plaques that I hung up around the house so they didnt come down like I knew the post-its would. The key is to stay positive and sounds like you are on the right track. Keep up the good work. And remember you are never alone God is always with you.

God Bless You,
danty
