I feel like I'm lost...i lost my apartment,my daughters dad doesnt help me do anything for her,no job,no car,NOTHING SEEMS TO BE GOING RIGHT.. best of all i have a baby on the way..i read the Word of God and im trying desperatly to stay victorious over the enemy cuz he has robbeed me of everything it seems and im tired of it! i don't have many christian friends to talk to about this and my family is out there doing their own thing. im worried im just gonna end up struggling with 2 kids..i wanna give up and surrender to poverty and lack..i don't know what else to do..i honostly feel like my prayers are going unheart..i feel like God really does not care about me anymore and that scares me cuz i dont want to end up going back to my old way of life.i know Jesus died for my sins and that i am bought with a price..i just can't understand why everything is so hard and why my family and I are going without..i'm afraid and really not sure what to do..i would really appreciate someone's,ANYONE'S advice..this is not the will of God concerning me..PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME TO SEE AND UNDERSTAND THAT...THANK U FOR TAKING TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY FOR ME...

SaintNLight,
First, ((((((SaintNLight)))))
Second, you mentioned you don't have many Christian friends. Do you have a church home? If not, check out a phone book to see what's near you . . within walking distance. Get plugged in. It's hard being a "lone ranger" Christian. We need fellowship with other believers. Also, since you're struggling spiritually, a church would be a great place to find a mentor. An older Christian woman who can take you under her wing and give you godly counsel. Ask the Lord to direct you where He wants you to go.
Third, may I suggest you lay out your needs before the Lord. From your post, it appears that relying on your "daughters dad" is a fruitless pursuit. This might be the Lord's way of urging you to rely on Him, trust Him for your needs.
Fourth, No, He hasn't forsaken you. It's not in His nature to do that. Don't get Him confused w/ how other people treat you. What I have learned in my own experience is that sometimes I, myself, sabatage my own prayers. I'm praying for one thing yet am doing something else (that I know isn't pleasing to Him) that hinders Him from moving. I don't know if this is the case with you, dear SaintNLight, but take an honest look at yourself and ask Him what, if anything, He wants to change.
Fifth, you mentioned you didn't want to go back to your "old way of life." Bravo! I'm very proud of you for that decision. Normally, our "old way of life" is what got us into the current mess we're in in the first place. So, beloved SaintNLight, choose His ways and His path consistently. They get you where you need to go. The other way is a rabbit trail and ultimately a dead end. Blessings! Bugsy

Re: Ups and Downs
SaintNlight.... I am so glad you are here! I am really sorry things are sooooo rough for you and that you seem to struggle all on your own. God is with you as you know and you need to keep clinging to HIM. You ARE doing the right thing by staying close to God and not being your old self. Yes...try to get into a church if you are not already. They can offer a lot of support if you let your needs be known. DO NOT give up because Chirist died for you and loves you sooooo much. I will be praying for you and asking God to meet your needs and to give you comfort. Come chat with us when you can please.
