Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Day 4

Postby Me26 » Tue Dec 21, 2010 12:00 pm

Hmm, I started talking about forgiving myself yesterday and today its the topic, How Great is our God!
"As adult Christians, we understand that God forgives us, so the bad feelings of guilt that we store up inside are in TRUTH, self pity. You're wasting your time feeling guilty." talk a about a blunt statement!... But it sure did hit home!
"Lose the guilt, and get on with God's business" ok sir, this is truly what i needed today.
so i started out with one problem but this course of study is bringing to light many other little problems i had but somehow i dont feel bad, i am actually happy that the Lord is confronting me with these things so that i can let them go and let God control my life.

Good morning Me26, may the Lord's Truth continue to smile upon you and bring you the renewed life you truly seek. He really does forgive, and He wants so much more for you than self pity and blame.

Keep working through the steps.

Hello me26,

so the bad feelings of guilt that we store up inside are in TRUTH, self pity. You're wasting your time feeling guilty." talk a about a blunt statement!... But it sure did hit home!
"Lose the guilt, and get on with God's business"

Amen and amen!

It is so easy and a slippery downward spiral when we open that door to self pity. Get out of the old stuff (that occupies so much wasted space in our minds) and get on with the New Freedom we have through the renewing of our mind in Him. Into Truth, the Light. The Truth shall set you Free. And those who the Son set free are free indeed!

Doing great me26!

God bless
