Day Two

I have entered into the garden, casting away All my fears I am going to Press forward. Now I am hopeful, excited and looking forward to see what the Lord has in store. I refuse to believe the Lies of the Devil ... that i cannot have a successful relationship... I declare in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ that all my relationships, romantic, familial, friendships and otherwise WILL prosper... Amen and Amen.

Hello Me26,

I'm so glad you are here working through the counseling steps. If there is one thing I noticed, it was the honesty you have shared in your first two posts. Not sugar coating the truth, but showing the selfishness within you that exists, and now taking the steps forward to do something about it. I too have had times of being selfish. I'm getting better at not being like that, and it has really made a difference in my life. I think that we cannot be all things to all people....and some will have expectations we can't meet....but if we do those things we know are pleasing to the Lord, and not to ourselves...then we can have peace in our relationships and friendships.
I encourage you to seek God's will for you, and follow the path of His direction.
