WOW!!! real eye opener. I am a very pessimistic person. I am definitely not where I thought I would be in my life. Far from it actually, but my outlook is not a positive one. I am always believing the worst of things will happen....and they do just like step one says, but sometimes when life is as complicated and restless as mine can be it's hard to look at things optimistically. I need a change within myself because no matter what I might appear on the outside I am miserable on the inside. I am raising two children on my own and I am sure when they look at me they are probably not seeing a strong person, but a very falling apart person. I used to be so full of life and happy with whatever, but not anymore. That is why I am here looking for answers...looking for God. I am coming at this with an open mind and heart. Hopefully I find peace and happiness once again...no matter what life has to throw at me.

Hello Blueangel :)

Welcome to Christianity Oasis.

I'm glad that you were led here and that you have chosen to do the 14-Day Path / CCCC Study. I know you'll be blessed by it.

You said:
Hopefully I'll find peace and happiness once again...

That is my hope for you, also. :)

God bless and keep you, Blueangel.
In Christ Jesus' love,

Hi blueangel..welcome to Oasis! Please know that you were led here by the Holy Spirit to find what you are seeking. God's perfect will be done. Im praying with you that He would show you what it is He wants you to see...and for that peace you are seeking. Ask, seek and knock. When the journey gets tough, keep going. He's with you. You are His.

Looking forward to what He is leading you too. I too, am a single mom...and one day at a time, you will see the blessings more and more if you keep going.

Again, His perfect will be done and am standing in prayer with you.

In Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

Chin up sis. :) What was taken from you can be returned. I'm speaking of your joy and peace. He holds the key.

Forgiveness is huge in this. Forgiving all, including your self. He is also trust worthy.

You can trust Him with the past, present and future. He'll take good care of it.

I also want to encourage you that it is ok if your kids see you struggle with something. They cry when they hurt and we are human to. So to them though it makes them sad to see us cry, they understand and they'll have all the more joy when you are back on your feet again. :) It's ok to be real.

It's going to be alright. Everything is going to be alright. *hug5*
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
