I need prayers. I feel as though I Lost God. I have been a child of God for over 15 years. Last year I did a really serious sin in Gods eyes. I am hurting now. I feel lost, scared and hopeless. Losing fellowship with God is one of the consequences of this sin. I can not bare all of this. I lost my peace and joy. I am spiritually dead. I do not know if I will ever get this back. I know that God restored David. It has almost been a year and I feel so lost. I miss my Lord, the peace and joy I had in Him. I feel uncovered now. No hope. I pray continually that God would restore it, but to no avail. I know that it was my own actions that did this. I am scarred all the time. No peace in anything in my life. If I could only turn back time. But I cant. I suffer the consequences everyday. I don't even think that od can even look in my direction any more. I grieved His Holy spirit. I don't think anyone could hep me. I have asked for forgiveness and repented, but I still don't feel Him or the Holy spirit anymore. Please help me. I want to be restored onto Him, but I feel its too late. I cannot bare to spend the rest of my life like this. I do not rest, I am fearful all the time. Please help if you can. Has anyone every gone through this? It hurts, but I guess that's what I deserve for hurting the people I hurt through this sin. I am truly sorry. If I could only turn back time. I can't. I feel so lost. More lost now than I did before I was saved. I always had a heart for God how could I have possible hurt Him this bad. I feel I don't even belong here. Some days I just want to die. Please help me. If you pray for me let me know what the Lord has put on your heart concerning me. I just want to have His joy and peace again. Thanks for listening.

I have grieved the Holy Spirit. I do daily! He is so good he forgives readily.
I know a woman who felt as you do.
Only she was going to loose her life because of her mistake, by the hands of humans who were just as sinful.
What did Jesus say to her?
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
John 8:3-11
They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
"No one, sir," she said.
"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
God bless and keep you.
My prayer is that you forgive yourself because Jesus has.
God loves you and so do I!

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Oh Lisa Ann God hasn't given up on you, He will always take you back when you ask and repent of your sin. You just have to believe that you are forgiven and forgive yourself.
Rededicate yourself to Jesus. Ask Him into your life and heart like you did the first time. Ask Him to forgive your sins and believe that He has.
Have a water baptism once more to wash everything away.
Then share the holy supper with Him, breaking bread and wine/juice.
Now ask a simple question "Jesus, do you love me?"
You will still remember what you did but no longer with the guilt associated with it (don't test this, believe) because you are forgiven. If the guilt tries to come back, recognize it for what it is... the enemy's lies to try to keep you in bondage. Don't allow him to continue, he no longer has the right to be there because Jesus has filled that space and you can tell him so.

Hello Lisa
Glad you decided to get on this road toward recovery , to redeem back what you think you may have lost . Our Lord told us "I will never leave you nor forsake you " and not believing that , we are basically calling Him a liar , right ?
What I see going on here Lisa , is that you are more concerned with your so-called "failure" , that right now you aren't able to see the Love that God has for you . and this is exactly what these steps help us with .
To get to the root of the consequences and getting rid of them , and then we will realize that God had been there all along , that The Light had been obscured by our own negative thoughts , He had nothing to do with either the "sin" nor it's consequences , nor did He move anywhere
Once again I would like to welcome you to the Oasis , and let you know that you are amongst your own kind here , and we have all gone through this and found a solution .
There will be more coming along to help you out , who knows , maybe more than I can , at least that's what they think , (don't tell'em I said that ok ?)
In Christ , our Lord

Lisa!!!! So glad to see you beginning the steps Sis you are now on your way to claiming back the LOVE that Jesus wants you to accept. Sis...as vahn stated...right now your looking at the sin that has you trapped in the darkness...not the doorway leading onto the Lighted pathway....but the doorway is there...and it is open...and Jesus is standing there holding out His arms saying...come home Lisa...come back to me...reach for Him sis...He has forgiven you...and now He wants you to forgive you...lay down the sin...and to move forward. It's not easy sis...but it is possible....cuz with God all things are possible. Jesus died on the cross sis for all sins...and the reason being that in the Old Testament times everytime someone sinned they had to sacrifice an animal to be released of their sins...God knows that we are sinners, so He gave grace to us through Jesus...and if you repent the sins are washed away...and we try harder to do better the next time.
Praying for you sis. Hope to see you in chat again soon.
luv ya

Hi Lisa Ann...welcome to Oasis.
I cant add much more to what's already been said here, can only echo it. The enemy loves it when we fall short and fail...he gains ground in our spirits with constantly bombarding us with the failures. God's mercy though, is sufficient. Sis, if youve taken this to the Lord with a heart of true repentance, its time to get back up, dust off and move forward, leaving the guilt behind. That's what His grace is all about. He will rebuild that bridge between you and Him through healing and agape love. He has always known you and ever step you were gonna take in this life, and He never stopped loving you. He's calling you back, now..and rejoicing. Let go now, and let God. You arent alone in this. Praying for you and standing with you in this.
God bless you and again, welcome to Oasis.
in Jesus,
love momo

Lisaaaaaaaaaaa
It was good to meet you last night, and to hear some of your story... I too am glad to see you here at the CCCC forum
In answer to your question has anyone gone through this, the struggles and consequences of falling in sin after becoming a Christian, to that I personally say yes many times and a couple of times what man would deem pretty badly! And feeling far from Him at the time, I have felt that too...
But... as Mr. Oasis and others were saying last night in chat, He ALWAYS forgives if we truly repent. As for the distance, He's not gone anywhere Lisa Sometimes He just wants us to find Him in other places, like here at the Oasis, the Bible, our "3D" friends and church... He refines us through the fire, and trust that you DO belong here!
Look forward to reading more of your spirit and your journey... God bless you Lisa for having the courage and strength to share too (that's Him as well, you know)
Luv ya,
Susi
