Greetings learningtoagape
Praise God that you are pressing forward into that which God has for you, to be whole in Him. I want to encourage you that God is forever faithful and as you continue to lay yourself before Him, allowing Him to shape you and mould you, (just as the Potter works the clay), He will indeed remove all the weeds. This is part of what God promised us He would do.
"Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Phil 1:6
This is just the beginning of the process, but we must choose to be determined not to give up, no matter what comes our way, we must continue to trust the Lord and believe the promises laid out for us in His Word
rather than that which the world or the enemy may speak to us. We must continue to believe that our God is with us and that He will never leave us nor forsake us and that we are not alone in this walk. And though we may go through some fiery trials, even walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with us. (Ps 23)
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
May your eye be single, only for Him, trusting in Him alone, no other. Continue in His Word, continue to pray, to seek Him with all of your heart.
Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psa 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
The Lord continue to strenthen your heart in Him.
