Day 9 of 14
Well, I should have typed this last night. I just ran out of time. Well... I had big step yesterday. I prayed that God would take my husband and my daughter and relinquish them into God's hands. My two biggest problems my divorce and custody. I know God will have a plan to work both of these out. I just have to trust in Him and keep praying.
As far as stepping stone 9 I feel there are alot of different changes I would like God to help me work on. I want to have patience and not so easily frustrated. I am working on not being mad and angry about the position i am in. Im back to starting my 40 days off again. I let my husband get to me. This time it will be better though.

Praising God for the work he's doing in you.
Keep taking steps forward.
Yes we fall down.
Just get up like you have and keep going.
Keep on Keeping on.
God is good. God if faithful. He will see you through this.
What strong faith you have.
Prayers for God to continue to strengthen you through this storm.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

You got it sis, if ya fall down get back up. So you let hubby get to you, now it's time to work on being more patient, and not allowing his actions to effect you emotionally. Noone can take your joy sis, unless you allow them to. Fight the good fight.
It's good to see you trusting in the Lord and the plans He has made for you. You may not know which direction your life is headed at the moment, but you can have peace in knowing God does, and He will not fail you. Keep your eyes on Him.
luv ya

Hi, Ang . . . good to see you, again . . .
One thought I had after going to Al-Anon, last night > one woman was talking about how her mother was a problem for her. And I thought . . . maybe after seeing how her mother's behavior has caused her problems, maybe she can appreciate that her * > own < * actions can effect her kids and other people; and at least be concerned about how *she* might be effecting others. And this would be good for me, too . . . not to be so concerned about how others are treating me, but mainly deal with how I myself am being with others.
Now your husband's thing for a divorce might seem to be "over the dam", but as you get better in your attitude and taking care of yourself . . . this will effect things. So, you don't know how things will come out with him. But, in any case, as you do better with God and how you relate with people, you will have more and better love sharing with different people. Hopefully, he will be in on this. He still can be. It is possible with God . . . no matter what he does, for a while.
And while you have him . . . take advantage of how you can "use" him to test how you are doing to become more sound and emotionally stable in spite of problems. We don't want to make problems go away, "too fast", because we can use them to check ourselves out. And God is *multi-tasking* with His various good purposes through our problems; so we do well to work with Him to discover the good He has working for various people through our troubles.
One of our classic Bible examples of this is Genesis 37-50 > how Joseph was sold by his brothers into slavery, then he used his situation to become ruler of Egypt. And a great famine came, so that his brothers came to Egypt to get food. And they were brought before him and did not recognize him. He had power to do whatsoever he pleased to them. But he let them know who he was, then helped them and his father and the others in their families. But after their father died, his father would no longer be around to directly influence him about what he did with his brothers; here is how he handled his brothers, then >
"Joseph said to them, 'Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will privide for you and your little ones.' And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them." (Genesis 50:19-21)
So, after Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers and then put in prison for something he didn't do, he then used his situation to help rescue many people from dying because of famine, and he used the situation to get into a love relationship with those brothers who had betrayed him and even had shown his bloody garment to their father, in order to make him think Joseph had been killed by a wild animal.
So, be ready to love (o: God bless you (o:
