Day 3:
I feel like I am doing better...I'm starting to feel like things are getting clearer for me. My bible reading is going very well. I also felt more motivated to do stuff around the house and I haven't felt that way for a long time. I've just felt better all around today. It's been great, things just seem to be turning around quickly for me. I just am hoping things keep going in this direction. I'm having some trouble understand some of what the bible is talking about especially in Job. I'm not sure why it's confusing but i'm kind of stuck in understanding it. I read 1-4 today about him today. I understand that God is testing him or Satan I think but then when i get to 3 and 4 i'm not understanding whats being said or asked.
I am going to keep going forward with everything that i'm doing and also look for more that I can do.

I also would like to think everyone that is helping me in my journey. It makes this much easier for me.

God Bless

hi rfaye, nice to meet you.

Thing about the Bible is, it's not a book to read from front to back and then you are done...it kinda a survival manual that you can open and look for what you need. I remember holding my Bible and saying, "okay Lord, show me something" then opening it up and moving the pages until it felt right to read...right.....there.... YES! Exactly what I needed to hear.

For new believers, I usually tell them to start in New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) so they can learn about Jesus first and what he did for us. The miracles...the hope...

So glad you are here

Each day is a new day...and with that comes new Hope...I'm so glad to see you feeling better. Just know that there will come some trials in the future...but with God you can overcome them a lot easier. Hang on to your faith always and seek the Lord continually.

Your doing well with the steps.

Let me say *WelcomeTrain* to the family sis. So glad that you have asked Jesus in your heart! The angels are rejoicing!
That was the most important step you could ever take in your life. I am so proud of you for stepping out and taking it.
THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR MERCY AND GRACE

Now sis the next step is to find you a home church if you don't have one and get yourself planted in HIS word. Read HIS word everyday and apply it to your life. Allow Him to continue His work in you sis. Keep doing the steps and keep trusting Him.

I am here for you if you need to chat.
God Bless You

I found a church that I think i would like to attend. I'm just a little nervous about attending because it's been so long. I feel like I won't know what to do or I won't dress right or do something wrong...it's a christan church and I've been to a catholic one as a child that was about 12 years ago that I last went. so is there anything i need to know?

Sounds awesome rfaye! Maybe go meet with the pastor first and take it a step at the time?

My advice is just be yourself. :)

The fellowship will be nice. :) Enjoy it.

rfaye, I was raised Catholic and now go to a Christian church and all the advice I have to give you is be you! It's not as strick with rules so...come as you are.

Nothing to fear and alot to gain.

When I first became born again, it took me a few churches until I found the right one. You will know because you will feel it...it will feel like home.
