I went today to my "Prayer Closet"... it's a beautiful place... a park on the lake. Sitting by the the water.. the wind blowing, making ripples.. the sun shining, causing the surface to sparkle... birds flying overhead landing on the water from time to time and taking off again... trees growing at the water's edge.

And then.. a little turtle's head popped up.. and made me realize it was all only an illusion. All those hours i've sat there looking at the water thinking how beautiful it was I wasn't really seeing the truth at all...

Beneath the surface... unseen... it's teeming with fish, with plants, with life... there's so much hidden... I just look at it again and again yet don't really see it at all.

Maybe that's how my walk with God was for a long time... I was just content to see things on the surface... but the Holy Spirit is changing me.

I want to be fully immersed...

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 1 corin 13:9-10
