A glimpse of hope...stepping stone two

Postby addicted2sin » Sat Jan 05, 2013 11:27 pm

Wow...these steps are going to be hard. My garden is full of so many weeds, snakes, bugs, ghost, birds, and ugliness that I'm scared and over whelmed of where to start. I'm trying to have faith that all will work out and God won't let go of my hand as I fight back these weeds and kill them out but I hear that voice laughing in my head saying "you'll just fail! You'll go back to where you were and all of this will be a waste of time!" But I'm trying not to listen to it and trust that this time things will be different. I will change and be a better person for my family. BUT most importantly a better Christian for Jesus!

Please help me Lord cause without you I'm nothing. You are what keeps me living, you are who I want to be proud of me. I'm doing this for you cause I love you and want to live my life fully for you! I give all I have to you Jesus...

One baby step at a time. Give yourself patience. Be prepared to get back up, ask Jesus to kiss your skinned knees and try again. One stp, one step, one step.

Lots of people here have been there.

Remember - you can't do it on your own. It is God who gives you strength.

You can do it.

You may need to start cccc over again at some point without having completed it - that is okay. Do other studies, here and elsewhere. Just don't quit. Put the Word of God into yourself several times a day.

One step, one step, one step.
