day 7, 8, and 9

been away for a couple of days but still keeping up on my daily readings. update: my hubby came home from being away for 2 weeks due to his mother being in the hospital. when he came home we had a really long and exhausting talk. I totally let him know how i felt about him not including me in his decisions, feelings, and forgetting about me period. he has a habit of "out of site, out of mind" when it comes to our marriage. he just tends to forget to check in with me and his boys. I know he loves us but sometimes it'd be nice if he showed it. as for his mother, she is due for surgery this friday. my husband was debating if he should fly back to see her before the surgery, just in case something was to happen. we discussed it and sort of came to an agreement, I totally understand that he wants to be there.
I've been totally trying to do what the lessons tell me. to weed out all the "junk" from my mind. so to do that I've been consistently listening to praise and worship music. i have to say it works. it's hard for the "evil" stuff to enter my mind while listening to christian music. it has helped me to lower my anger, anxiety, stress, etc. I have a long ways to go but i will continue to try and get closer to God so i can rid myself of all this toxicity in my life that has been eating at me since the age of 5. I pray for those in need of healing, peace, serenity, etc. in jesus name, Amen!
