Journal for Step 12

Postby Larry77 » Fri Jul 27, 2012 3:06 pm

No one wants to fail or fall down, but knowing when we get up and keep going we have the help of Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help us on our way. Not that I want to fall down, but I am human so I probably will fall down. What I want to do and get good at or at least try is to "Practice Not Falling" seems like a great skill to develop.

Thanks to all who respond to my post and to all who just stop by and read them. If anyone has words of encouragement, please do not hesitate to tell me about it.

Take Care

Hello Larry :)

God bless you this day.

Recently, I have started watching baseball games on TV with my hubby. GO Nats!!! lol Anyway, it has been a very sweet way for my hubby and I to spend some "fun" time together, but I've also learned quite a bit. The Washington Nationals have a lot of really good pitchers, and the one spoken about most often is Strasburg. Recently my husband commented that Strasburg was too concerned with throwing balls that no one could hit, as opposed to doing what he does best, and that is throwing an incredible fast ball.

Strasburg is on an incredible team with an outstanding defense, he needs to trust in his team to do what they do best also.

As Christians, we're on God's team. Yeah!!! He has an outstanding defense. If we stay focused on God: reading His Word, talking with God (God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit), He will guide us into all Truth, His will for us, and He'll even correct us when we start straying off the path of righteousness.

:) Cool, huh?!!! Thank You Holy Spirit \o/ \o/ \o/

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
