Finished but Not Done!
I have finished the Stepping Stones program & plan on moving on to the Spirit of Truth program but I’m going to continue to post here as the Spirit of the Lord directs me. Yesterday was day 21 today 22. Didn't post yesterday but I haven’t been far from the Lord. BTW: still not smoking, day 10. Yesterday was a busy day. I worked my regular job, I clean buildings with my wife & on Saturdays we have 3 that we do. I listened to some Joseph Prince mp3s I downloaded all day. Then I had to finish (weed eat) a lawn I started last night. By the end of the day I was dead tired because I only got about 3 hours of sleep (still struggling with that). Well I was just about to fall asleep when my daughter stopped by. I didn’t want to get up but I did & I’m glad I did. I just wanted to share what she wrote in a card to me;
Dad,
I want you to know that I think you are the best dad in the world ! No matter how many mistakes you think you may be making, I think you are perfect in every way! (: I love you dad, don’t forget that!
I CRIED!!! Praise God for giving me such a wonderful daughter! I also thank you Lord for keeping me from bringing much of my sin into the home, I always tried to keep my substance abuse out of the home & I never abused my kids. This is not to minimize what I did or say that it didn’t have an effect on the family because it did.
To all of you Sisters out there who have had a bad experience with your earthly father;
I LOVE YOU & GOD YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN LOVES YOU!!!
If you want you can consider me your earthly father.
God Bless You All
The Way, The Truth, & The Life
Keep on Prayin!
