Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Another great study. I find my heart not as troubled, although I know if I stop controlling my thoughts and immersing myself in HIS word, my weeds will continue to grow -- the ones with the deep roots will come back with even deeper roots. Lesson #6 was helpful -- it helps to journal what I want to do each day. It helps me celebrate what I do, instead of beating myself up over things I don't do.

I read a scripture -- Galations 5: 16-25 on the Holy Spirit. I certainly can tell that the spirit lives in me -- compared to how I lived in my past that I'm so ashamed of. I need to take victory of the fact that the Holy Spirit lives in me, and He's done so much in my life, than concentrate on my life BEFORE the Holy Spirit was in me.

I heard on the radio -- one of the least important scores is the score at half time. It's the final score that counts. So, I shouldn't be concerned because my score at half-time wasn't great at all, and I made alot of "plays" I certainly regret w/ all my heart. I need to press forward to concentrate on the Victories I'm having with Christ living in me.

Thanks for your prayers -- keep um coming! God is good !!! So glad I found this site where I can share my thoughts & feelings in a safe Christian environment!

Hi Lynn.. *hug*

Sister, did you know that nothing you have ever done, no thought, no action...has ever caught God off guard? Nothing you have done ever made Him shake His head. He knew every step, every breath you were gonna make....and still loves us unconditionally. The shame you feel...sister, its all covered...its all been forgiven. His blood has made you as white as snow. When God sees you, He sees you through the eyes of perfect grace. Oh, how beautiful His grace and mercy are. This is where life is...

Some of my favorite verses are Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

and....

Psalms 139:17
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

Keep weeding Sister. Every time one of these thoughts come up, pull em out and replace them with the truth of how He sees you. *BigGrin*

God bless and keep you. Still praying for you along this awesome path! He is so good.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
