My journal entry #6

Postby Lynnstan » Sun Feb 05, 2012 4:40 pm

Praise to God -- creator of heaven and earth!

I took a day off yesterday -- busy at home and went out to dinner w/ my hubby. I will say that spending this much time in a study is very helpful!

I printed out my Miracle Grow chart and will begin using it. I will say that I do try to spend much of my time/energy on spiritual things. I know I'm very weak-- my past has proven that. It is easy for me to get swept away into the world's crap . . . . I have fallen so many times on my face -- I don't want to go back there. We primarily listen to Christian music -- and jazz. This helps me stay in a right mindset. I'm blessed to have a job that I can listen to music thru my earbuds or headphones. I listen to Christian music and various podcasts . . . Joyce Meyer, Greg Laurie to name a couple.
I know I'm weak and need Him every day . . . and need to listen to concentrate on Him and continue to grow.

I want to say Thank you to all, and everyone who has read my postings so far or commented has helped. I am feeling better -- I believe in the power of prayer, and am so grateful. I am praying for breaking free of the bondages of shame and pain, and will hopefully help someone some day avoid the pitfalls that I feel into that hurt me and so many others. And to be able to be more outspoken about how Jesus has saved me and how he has made me a new person in Him.

Blessings & thanks!
