Step 5

Postby Faithandlove » Sat Nov 05, 2011 11:22 pm

You know, as I sat at work today, trying to sort things out, praying, listening to the word of God on the radio and reading my bible (sometimes I have alot of free time at work), a thought came to me: don't let the enemy have control over this situation! You can put a stop to it! You don't have to listen to someone telling you what the enemy is doing! Focus your attention on God and His grace, love and mercy. And I have to admit, I was really taken aback! I hadn't realized that that's what I was doing! And it was stealing my joy to listen to all the garbage about what's happening at that job involving me!

I realize that the time is near for Christs' coming and that the enemy has truned up the heat, you know, took it up a step. I hadn't realized that I had fallen right into step with his plan! So when I got home from work and read step five, identifying the problem, it just all came into play. I know what my problem is, and I'm putting a stop to it!

You know this journal thing is really helping! I had my doubts at first, but seeing all the love that pours in from my brothers and sisters in Christ, I don't know, I'm just overwhelmed with joy and love. To everyone who reaches out to me and all the rest, thank you, for being so loving and caring. I mean that. *hug*

*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Amen and amen again! God is so good.

I love this verse in the bible...

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Keep going sister. Fight the good fight. He is with you...and He loves you.

In Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
