Ron's Journal Day 7
Last night I was thinking on the very subject of finding the absolute truth...... Right now, I'm hungry for it, wanting it so bad.... I see how I and everyone around me was massively played in spiritual warfare.... in ways that boggle my mind, things that I would of never comprehended.... I see how ugly it got.... wow. I can see how others were used to plant lies in my head, and I don't think they realise they did it....
scary. Discernment is becoming a very valuable tool, as well as me just praying for more wisdom.
I'm being very observant, and making sure that I speak total truth, even if someone may not like what they hear, or thinks i'm crazy.
I'm going to do something different this year... spend more time working with kids, Give of my time to them.

Hey Ron,
I love your renewed sense of values and truth...The thing is to be careful to be true to God in all things...and yes the "world" and others do try and plant false things and even evil things in our minds...that's why we must continually refresh in the Word and follow God.
I'm sure your children will be thrilled to spend more time with their dad. Children need Christian upbringings more than anything today. I hope you will continue to feed your children the love of Jesus...as He will be the one to guide their path in this 'ole world.
Take care and God Bless

Re: Ron's Journal Day 7
I am in need of serious prayer and guidance....
This Morning my Ex wife has made it clear that she wants to take my daughter 3000 miles away and live in South Carolina, I have the power to say " NO" but she plans to petition the court over this issue.....
I am torn, If I say Yes, I loose my Kid, and allow them to be happy, but somewhere no where near me, If I say No, the person I regard as my friend will most likely Hate me, has already said I'm holding her hostage a few times, But then I protect my rights to my daughter and how she is brought up.
I hate to have to say No to her........ Please pray that somehow God can open Christines eyes to see that Leaving is not in the best Interest of our little girl, enough has been done.

Re: Ron's Journal Day 7
Ron, I will definitely keep you in prayers. I'm in no position to tell you what to do...only God can do that...but I know if there is any chance for you to be in your child's life...that is what God would want. God wants us to raise our children...and to influence them in His love. I know there is a lot at stake here...but what is in the best interest of that child is to know Jesus and to whatever you have to do to share her with Him...then you do so my friend. We sometimes loose friends...but we never loose God...God loves all of you...and He needs to be first no matter what. May His will be done for you all.
Take care hun

Ron,
This one surely is a tough call, I don't understand how Christine could possibly think it is in the best interest of your children not to see their father...take a stand here Ron, 3000 miles away? What is her motivation for moving that far away? I will keep you in my prayers Ron...

It is a very tough call, and right now rather than worry about it, I gave it to God. Her Motivation is that she will be near Her sisters and that way she has her friends, Christine has made no effort to make friends here at all, all she wanted to do for years was go home to SC, it was part of our issues.... She uses the excuse that Daisy will have cousins to play with, children her own age, My responce has been Well, she has friends here that she plays with, She has her friends in Sunday School, I'm the one who takes her there.... she goes to all the family functions with me at church and plays with kids. Every single person who I have gotten an opinion from says its a bad Idea to take a child away, Teachers, Doctors, My pastor, even our Bankruptcy lawyer who also handles childrens work told her it's a poor idea..... My parents take care of Daisy when Either Christine or I have to work, they are a very important influence....
I may have to take a stand and say No, and tell a Judge why I say No.....

Well that's what love does...it protects our children and makes sure they have what they need to grow up in a healthy Christian environment...God's will be done.

Re: Ron's Journal Day 7
Hello Ron
Sorry to say , I have just now come across your post(s) .
On the issue of "custody" ... Like any one else , I , (we) , cannot have the final "say" on this , except that I can only share the experience I went through , and learnt from that experience , hence my opinion is only based on that .
First and foremost , it is always a sad issue when a child gets "separated" from either parent . They need both . Just like us , they DO get to be put in a position where they have to choose as well , whether we realize that or not .
The thing for me was , to take a look at the whole picture in its entirety putting my personal "preference" , likes and/or dislikes aside , and to concentrate on what is best for my child instead .... there was a time when I was a bad boy , and I myself did not see it fit that my daughter be exposed to my lifestyle , although I wanted it so badly that she be with me and it was tearing my heart apart on a daily basis , but ... I bet it tore our Heavenly Father's Heart as well , having to send His Only here to us , KNOWING He would be "killed" .
I would seriously consider checking BOTH motives , not just her's (the ex's) , and put them next to each other and then compare , see what the middle ground is 'cause that is where the truth lies ... (He said , she said , the truth is in the middle) ... and the middle is the CHILD ... not you , or your ex ...
I pray that in all this , His will (as always will) , and not ours be done , the child is His .
Luv ya
In Christ , our Lord
