The Devil is trying to get me back

Postby sleeplessinflorida » Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:08 pm

Yesterday I finally finished with helping my sister and my nieces with decluttering, organizing, cleaning, and redecorating their rooms. Thank you Lord Jesus! *band* I felt wonderful and as I was officially announcing that my work there was done to everyone I saw that my sister and both my nieces were very upset and I was at a loss? I didn't even get a thank you from any of them. Normally, before having the Holy Spirit, the Armour of GOD, this would of hurt my feelings really bad and I would of simply stormed out thinking bad things. But Praise the Lord, I didn't instead I went to comfort them and tried to understand what happened and shared good things with them. Once they unloaded they started to come around and apologized to me, then thanked me for helping them. ;) This filled my heart with joy. GOD is good!

While I was sitting alone I knew that it was the devil trying to get me back. He caused my family to get into a big heated disagreement over nothing and tried to get me feeling bad again. I thank the Holy Spirit for being with me and never leaving me. Without him I would of fell for the devils lies and probably been back to where I was prior to GOD! I surprised myself because when I probably should of got angry instead I felt sorry for everyone because they don't know GOD like I do. These people should have nothing to complain about or nothing to fight about; they clearly have all the material things that this world has to offer; yet some how it's not enough. I will pray for the Lord to keep working on me so I can help lead them to him. *Pray* I want for them to feel what it is like to have Jesus in your heart. *Cheer2* *Friends* *Cheer3*

Thank you Lord Jesus for always being there! Thank you for making me feel happy with the things you have blessed me with here on earth and for filling my heart with sooo much love and joy! *hug5* *BlowKiss* *Amen2*

sleepless....God is proud of you sis...for when you saw the enemy come a knockin' you sent Jesus to the door instead....

sleepless...when you first came here to the Oasis...you came because you needed healing...but now I see why God led you to that healing...because He needs you sis in His army of servants...He wants to use you to reach these in your family who are not aware of His presence or what He can really do for them...They do not know His love....but you do...and He will use that sis to open more doors for you to be a witness...grab those opportunities.

luv ya sleepless and keep up the good fight of faith
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Reminded me of Solomon there :)

1Kings 3:5-11
In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee

And Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

And the speech pleased the LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing.
And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment
Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

It is better to light a candle then curse the darkness *lost*
