A friend is someone
who's always there
Whenever you need
someone who cares.
A friend is someone
who'll lend an ear
When you just need
someone to hear.
A friend is someone
who's honest with you
When there are things
that need talking through.
A friend is someone
you can trust
Any time you feel
that you must.
A friend is someone
whose respect you've earned
By showing that friend
respect in return.
A friend will never
do or say
Anything to make you
feel betrayed.
A friend with all
the traits above
Must have been sent
from God above.
