I have an Idea, a calling sorta
I need to write another original poem for a book! God is telling me to just pour my soul out and I really want it to be a Christian poem since it is also going to be in the Libarary of Congress! This is just an idea, feel free to give any critizism and remember, I am my biggest critic, you can't hurt my feelings! This is no changes, just random thoughts scrambled together on command. Also, what should it's title be?
Whisper my name
Hold me close
Give me life
And promise me everything
I want to live
Live for my Jesus
I want to know
Am I Your child?
I want to live today
To give You praise
So You will know
I am for You
Cleanse my spirit
Open locked doors
Be my friend
And promise me everything
I'm dying
Dying to live
I'm hoping
Hoping for Your embrace
And I want You to know
To never let go
Because the thought of You
Makes me fall down, humbled
Sooo............. what do ya think? Please comment and critisize away!

As a Christian, we will find struggles and hardships like no other, that is why Jesus died for me, that is why he died for YOU! Often times we find ourselves wondering, is this life worth living? I thought I got a great deal when I signed up for this. But here is a reality check, we did not just sign up, we chose to LIVE! God gives us tests, to prove ourselves to him and so we can grow stronger, that is why our hardships are truly blessings in disguise. So count both your hardships and blessings

Wow! That's good I think it should be called "Dying to live".

Awesome poem, great advice.
When i read it, it makes me surrender my all to Jesus.
I love the open locked doors. It reminded me of a sermon in church. One of the speakers, who was also very young said "we need to open the doors inside us, for how can the Holy Spirit work through us, if the doors are closed".
I love your poem and can not fault it.
Good luck with it.
