Hey I am writing this to everyone who's lost someone, this is In Loving Memory of Brian my brother who died exactly a year ago. It is going to be called Anniversary to fit more than just me and my family into it though.

Anniversary,

By: Robert (In Loving memory of his Brother)

It seems it was just yesterday
that we were conversing as friends
yet I realize time has got away
from me as it tried, my wounds, to mend.
When I need someone you were there
to catch me in my deepest falls
and mistakes you showed me you care
as we continued to skip along untill God calls.
It seems you were first and another year has passed
so In loving Memory I come to say goodbye
though we had a lot of good times, they never seemed to last
as I remember you and even how you die,
I feel close though I know you aren't near
I wish again to hold you in my arms, my dear.

Hope you all like it and I hope it is somewhat comforting though it mainly contains feelings.

dear friend,

Wonderful poem !!!

Sharing your feelings does 2 things; it helps you heal, and it DOES offer comfort to others going through the same thing.

I also believe that your brother would want you to heal. Know that he is in paradise this day and suffers no more from the things of this earth. He is continually in the presence of God with all the others who are praising Him. I cannot imagine the joy and love he feels.

Remember him well by taking up your life again and follow the path to joy that God is calling you on.

*hug*

In about a week it will have been 52 years since my Grandma died. Indeed, it seems almost like yesterday when I think of her. Prayer helps and I found peace in knowing we'll meet again eventually.
