Cassie by flyleaf

this song is called cassie. It is about a girlcalled cassie who was killed in the columbine school shooting in 1999. Two girls, Rachael scott and cassie, were asked "do you believe in God" with a gun to their head. Rachael was the first. She said "you know i do" and recieved a bullet to the head seconds later. Cassie was asked the same question and also said "yes" This song was made in memory of her.

The question asked in order
to save her life or take it
the answer no to avoid death
the answer yes would make it
make it

do you believe in God
written on that bullet
say yes you pull the trigger
do you believe in God
written on that bullet
and cassie pulled the trigger

all heads are bowed in silence
to remember her last sentence
she answered him knowing what would happen
her last words still ringing in the air
in the air

do you believe in God
written on that bullet
say yes you pull the trigger
do you believe in God
written on that bullet
and cassie pulled the trigger

how many will die
i will die
i

i will say YES

do you believe in God
written on that bullet
say yes you pull the trigger
do you believe in God
written on that bullet
and cassie pulled the trigger

(do you believe)
do you believe in god
(do you believe)
written on that bullet
(do you believe)
say yes you pull the trigger
(do you believe)
do you believe in God
(do you believe)
written on that bullet

and i will pull the trigger
Don't cry because its over.
Smile because it happened.

Love this song Pineapply! I remember the day of the Columbine shootings, where I was, etc. And also Michael W. Smith's tribute to Cassie Bernall "This Is Your Time". I didn't hear Flyleaf's song until a few months ago (I love Flyleaf too) :)

Powerful testimony... thanks for sharing this lil sis!
