Dear Love

Inspired by Just a Dream
I heard someone today
He said we lost a man
He was just a young lad
Of only 23 years
He left behind
2 children and a wife
I saw the body
And I see something strange
Resting in his hand
And in it
Is a letter
Addressed to My Love

Dear Love,
It has been quite a while
Since I last saw you
But it is almost done
I can't wait to get home
Back to you my love
Tell the kids I'm coming home
Sincerely, Yours

I came back home today
And I feel an ache
Coming on
I have to deliver the letter
To a woman he called Love
She opened the door
And I saluted her
That was when
She broke down

Oh my Love
It has been quite a while
Since we last saw you
But now it is done
And you aren't a' coming home
Back to me, my love
What to tell the kids
I will be always sincerely yours
As a Christian, we will find struggles and hardships like no other, that is why Jesus died for me, that is why he died for YOU! Often times we find ourselves wondering, is this life worth living? I thought I got a great deal when I signed up for this. But here is a reality check, we did not just sign up, we chose to LIVE! God gives us tests, to prove ourselves to him and so we can grow stronger, that is why our hardships are truly blessings in disguise. So count both your hardships and blessings
