Thank You
CHALLENGE! What is the hidden message?
I watched the pure white lily grow
And I sheltered it from the cold
I nutured it and cared for it
And it began to blossom
As I watched it grow
I saw a change take place
Weeds began to grow
No matter how many times I pulled them out
As the weeds took hold
You began to wither away
Your petals slowly turned black
And you began to wilt
As you wilted away
I saw you die
And as you died
I saw a new transformation
In your place was a little green bud
So fragile yet full of promise
I carefully removed it from the weeds
And I brought it inside my house
As time ticked by
The new lily began to grow
Day by day, taller
And I witnessed you blossom again
Out in the yard
I removed the weeds
They began to follow my command
And I placed you in your rightful spot
Years came and years passed
You slowly but surely began to wither
Not from weeds but from age
And you said one last thing
“Thank you.”

As a Christian, we will find struggles and hardships like no other, that is why Jesus died for me, that is why he died for YOU! Often times we find ourselves wondering, is this life worth living? I thought I got a great deal when I signed up for this. But here is a reality check, we did not just sign up, we chose to LIVE! God gives us tests, to prove ourselves to him and so we can grow stronger, that is why our hardships are truly blessings in disguise. So count both your hardships and blessings
