Who Are the Heirs of the Promise of God?

Great to share time with you again ... We are now at the most exciting part. Make sure you check the Scripture that is being shared in this Heirs Of The Promise Of God study as to confirm Truth.

Let's become familiar with the events that will happen to the Christians who will remain on the earth after the End Times, during the Millennium.

What we are looking at in this God keeps His promises section of our Left Behind program, is evidence that the Bible gives us concerning what earth dwelling believers who are left behind are doing during the Millennium. It is clear that the Christians that were in hiding will come out of hiding and head for Israel. The Bible talks about them in various scriptures and we'll look at some of those in just a moment, but first I'd like to explain something.

Galatians 3:29

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

How God Keeps His Promises to the Heirs of the Promise of God

Now, I know that many of you are used to reading the Old Testament with the mindset that Israelites were God's chosen people. However, we are all God's chosen people after the beginning of the New Covenant when the Blood of Jesus was shed for all of our sins. There's absolutely no reason to keep classifying who is Jewish and who is Gentile.

Ezekiel 47:21-23

21 So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
22 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord God.

So, when those that were hidden in the wilderness head to Israel as they are to do when they come out of hiding, they will be classified among the twelve tribes. Which tribe depends on which tribe they traveled with. Also, Paul explains that the Gentiles are grafted in so that we are all God's chosen people, ever since Jesus died for us.

Romans, Chapter 11

1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people [Israel]? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away His people which He foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of Grace.
6 And if by Grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise Grace is no more Grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more Grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the Apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be Holy, the lump is also Holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest He also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in His goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the Gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that He might have mercy upon all.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor?
35 Or who hath first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

God Keeps His Promises to Israel

This Heirs of the Promise of God tidbit of Truth should cause all of us, especially those who make fun of or have any kind of bias against God's chosen Jewish people, to stand still for a moment and reflect on the part where Paul advises not to boast against them, because God Loves all of us and that definitely includes Israel, that is the Jewish people. The Bible says that Christians are grafted into the family, kinda like adopted children to a loving Father. So, the next time someone spouts a joke against a Jewish person or Israel, you may want to reconsider what is funny and what isn't.

Where will the hidden Christians be and how will they get from the hiding place to Israel? Many say ... Well, we know ⅓ of the Earth is destroyed during the Trumpets in the End Times. Think about that. One third of the earth is destroyed. If one was to get a globe or an atlas of the earth and circle all of the countries that are mentioned in the Bible as being involved in the End Times after the one third of the world is destroyed in the Trumpets it becomes painfully obvious that the countries that are not mentioned in the End Times are the one third that is destroyed.

These countries may include Canada, Mexico and United States of America.

Now, if we read of the third Trumpet, we see that many were poisoned from drinking water in these destroyed areas.

Revelation 8:10-11

10 And the third Angel sounded, and there fell a great star from Heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

God Keeps His Promises Summary

We cannot rule out that some people may still be in hiding in that ⅓ of the world that was affected by the first 4 Trumpets, because the Bible says that many people die from the poison water there. It doesn't say all the people there die, it says many, which indicates that perhaps there are some survivors who don't die.

The Heirs of the Promise Of God Point of Interest ... The believers from all over the world, will find their way to Jerusalem. First of all, remember that God led Israel out of Egypt through the Red Sea and He led them through the wilderness to the Promised Land with a cloud by day and fire by night. Some believers may be oceans away from Jerusalem, and we can only speculate as to how the Lord will bring us all to the Holy City for the Millennium, but with God, all things are possible.

I'd like to share with you in the next part of the Promise Of God study, just some of the exciting events that the Bible describes about this highly anticipated time of the exodus to the Promised Land after the End Times are completed. Next, we'll look at some scriptures that confirm that God will gather all His people and bring them to Jerusalem!

God keeps His promises and will most certainly keep His vow to the Heirs of the Promise of God too.
