Biblical Sheep and Goat Parable
What is the Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment
Who Gave us the Biblical Sheep and Goat Parable
Each of us has a great opportunity to serve the Lord by sharing our God given Spiritual gifts. We are His tools that He uses to see to it that His cause and will comes to pass. Therefore, we have a calling. We need only answer the call.
I would like to share a parable that Jesus shared with us in Matthew, Chapter 25, starting at Verse 14 as to discover the Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Bible message to us Christians, from the Lord:
14 For the Kingdom of Heaven is as a man travelling into a
far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his
goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and
to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and
straightway took his journey.
The parable that Jesus is sharing is using the word "talents" which is a unit of weight and money used in ancient times. We will soon find that these "talents" are actually Talents as in Spiritual gifts, which we are all given as needed according to the calling we have.
Note that each person was given talents as per their ability.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and
traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained
other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the
earth, and hid his lord's money.
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Warning
Each of us has received such a great gift in that we know and are known of Jesus and the serenity that comes with knowing the Truth. We are to share this gift. The Spiritual gifts we possess are to be used for this cause. We are not supposed to stick our head in the sand, and proclaim ... "I got mine" but rather share our God given Spiritual gifts in a manner which will bring others to the light of His Truth.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh,
and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and
brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me
five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and
faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will
make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said,
Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two
other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful
servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
We see that Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment parable warns us ... In the day of judgment, God will ask to see what you have done with the knowledge and spiritual Gifts that He has given you. One will be rewarded if they used the "talents" wisely.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and
said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou
hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the
earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
Biblical Sheep and Goat Parable Concern
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Bible study trivia question and answer ... Why did this man bury the talent? He was afraid to take the little that he was given for fear that he would lose it. This occurs often when a Christian is confronted with a lost soul and they immediately shun the other for fear of their fragile faith being negatively affected.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and
slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and
gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the
exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own
with usury.
This Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment parable is simply saying that we should do something with what God has given us. From talking with others to writing a book to opening a Ministry ... Something.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto
him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he
shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away
even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Is Coming Soon
My friends and fellow Christians ... We are taught to share the Gospel of Truth with all others that we encounter. If we choose not to do so, we become an unprofitable servant to Him and His cause. The end result will not be what many expect that sit around thinking they have it going on because they are safe.
The truth within the Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment message thus far brings to mind the story of the luxury liner called the "Titanic" sinking. The ship hit an iceberg and the ship began to slowly sink into the freezing cold ocean. There were only enough lifeboats for about half of the passengers, so they began to load up women and children first. There was chaos all about, as the ship was sinking lower and lower into the depths of the icy sea.
There were cowardly men who tried to sneak on the lifeboats with the women and children. They only cared to save their own lives. However, there were also men that stayed behind making sure they saved as many as they could before the ship disappeared into the dark, cold waters. These brave men sacrificed their lives to save those souls knowing they might die and many did. They are heroes in the minds and hearts of anyone who ponders on this story.
What would Jesus do? The Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment point is that it is clear that sacrifice is important to God. I mean, He sacrificed Jesus to give us the opportunity at Grace. Yes, our God believes in sacrifice as we see when Jesus says:
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the Gospel's, the same shall save it.
The Apostle Paul explained this best when he shared this Truth with us to ponder and pray upon:
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of Angels,
and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling
cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand
all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all Faith, so
that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and
though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it
profiteth me nothing.
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment secret to success ... We must have unconditional Love for others over self. So fear not sharing your Faith with others. Despite all. We are given the "talents" we have by Him and they are to be used for Him. We are not to live in fear of losing our Salvation but rather trust in Him and bring others to Him so they might have salvation as well.
31 When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all
the Holy Angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His
glory:
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He
shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his
sheep from the goats:
33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the
goats on the left.
This is the Great White Throne Judgment.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the Heaven fled away; and there was
found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;
and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the
book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works.
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Blessing and the Biblical Sheep and Goat Parable Curse
Let's look at what Jesus said next:
34 Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand,
Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited
me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when
saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or
naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto
thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I
say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of
these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the
devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye
clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw
we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or
in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto
you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did
it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:
but the righteous into life eternal.
As you can see in our Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment journey ... The Great White Throne Judgment is not only to determine if we are believers in Jesus, but also what we did with the Faith and Spiritual Gifts we were given.
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Fears
Biblical Sheep and Goat Parable Tears
Some may say ... "But, I have no Spiritual gifts ..." If you are a believer, you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you:
(But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him shall receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
He lives in you and we are no longer our own or to hold selfish and vain values:
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
You do have access to these Spiritual gifts. Yes you !!!
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the
same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the
same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every
man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to
another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the
gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another
prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds
of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit,
dividing to every man severally as He will.
Christian Sheep and Goat Judgment Parable Summary
In Matthew, Chapter 25 ... Jesus has made it clear that we are to be using these Spiritual gifts and reaching for others and those who choose not to do so, will be in some deep trouble. Please choose to not only hear what has been shared today but to perform the doing thereof:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my
Father which is in Heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and
in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:
depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and
doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house
upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was
founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and
doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his
house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the
fall of it.
