For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be Holy; for I am Holy ...

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.

And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
²³ Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Let not then your good be evil spoken of: For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

¹¹ Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
¹² Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

³ And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
⁴ And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

¹⁴ But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
¹⁵ But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
¹⁶ Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

¹³ But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
¹⁴ If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

¹⁰ And the Angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

¹⁵ For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
¹⁶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
¹⁷ If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him.

And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in His Salvation.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God ...

¹ O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the Earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

⁸ They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
⁹ Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
¹⁰ Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
¹¹ Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
¹² They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
¹³ The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

¹¹ Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
¹² Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
¹³ Before the Lord: for He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His Truth.

The Lord reigneth; let the Earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

⁸ Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
⁹ Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

³ But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
⁴ Sing unto God, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name JÄH, and rejoice before Him.

Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.

Glory ye in His Holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her Saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Let the Saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

⁹ And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the Lord your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
¹⁰ Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
¹¹ So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.
¹² And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

¹⁵ Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
¹⁶ In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.

And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Rejoice evermore.
