Matthew 12:31

Hebrews 6:4-6

To do so is compared to a dog returning to his vomit.

2 Peter 2:20-22

C'mon ... If every Christian who sinned was removed from God's Grace and could never return, who would be saved? What is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? It is to leave and not return after knowing the Truth. Spiritual Blasphemy is not making a poor choice. Do you know someone who has never sinned or a Christian who has not sinned and fallen down? Hebrews 10:1-10

1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.

At times, Paul is difficult to understand, but his messages from God are always enLIGHTening. Paul is saying that back in the Old Covenant with Israel, God's law stated that an animal sacrifice could remove sins, but if you sinned again after that, you had to sacrifice another of your animals to remove the latest sin and so on and so on ...

But, Paul is sharing that in the New Covenant ... Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the one and only Sacrifice for our sins ... So, if it were true that we could never sin after we become believers ... That would make an animal sacrifice of more value than our Lord's Sacrifice because in the Old Covenant all you had to do was grab another animal and poof you were forgiven over and over. But, the incorrect theory of if a Christian sins, they are a goner is nonsense ... God Forbid !!!

How would the New Covenant be a better Covenant than the Old Covenant, as it is written, if Christians living under the New Covenant are unable to stumble or fall along our Christian walk and sin even once after we become believers? Yeah, there is something wrong with that interpretation of these Scriptures. It seems that some are absolutely confusing grieving the Holy Ghost, with what is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost meaning ...

Ephesians 4:30

And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit is GOD'S SPIRIT. He is a bundle of emotions and gets hurt and grieved. But ... He also loves and forgives. We simply need to learn how to not quench the Spirit of God in our lives.

Do not mistake blasphemy of the Holy Spirit to be the same as grieving the Holy Spirit. They are two very different things. God sacrificed His only Son so that you can be forgiven for your sins and have the hope of eternal life with Him. He also knows that you are subject to the Original Sin, and that sin is inevitable in man, so do not be deceived and become afraid that you will be doomed anytime you fall down, backslide or sin. It is simply not true.

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

It is obvious that God is looking for ways to get us into Heaven ... Not keep us out and the Holy Spirit is our promised Comforter and not someone we should live in fear of. According to Jesus, all you have to do is believe in Jesus to receive the Holy Spirit within you:

John 7:38-39

38 He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Ask not what is Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost ... But rather, Ask the Lord to establish your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
