What is Christian Salvation Meaning?
What is the Christian Home in Heaven Gift

We have learned that when Christian's physical body dies, their soul is carried to Abraham's Bosom, which is also known as Paradise. We also know that Abraham's Bosom is temporary, because we are promised eternal life in Heaven.

What is eternal life? It is where the soul lives forever ... Despite if it is in Heaven or the Lake of Fire. Is Heaven forbidden to anyone? If so, why is Heaven forbidden? If you read the suggested related Second Chances study, you will learn that the souls that choose not to believe in Jesus, will be placed in Hell, until the Great White Throne Judgment and then the unbelieving soul will be thrown into the Lake of fire.

This brings forth one simple question ... Will we choose to spend forever in Heaven or the Lake of fire?

Most believe that they have all the time in the world to choose. But, in reality, we should face the truth that today could very well be the last day of our lives and that we should live each day as if it could be our last. Choose to live it for the Lord, while holding on to the promise of Christian Salvation and that new Christian Home.

God has given His promise to all and He doesn't want anybody to end up in Hell.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His Promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Words of Jesus, confirms this desire to reach all ...

Matthew 24:14

And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

So, we see that God wants every soul to be able to have the opportunity to be able to partake of the New Covenant.

And accept Jesus as their Savior, as to receive the Promise of eternal life in Heaven.

What is Christian Salvation Purpose?
The Christian Home in Heaven Cost

Kinda cool that only within the last 50 years or so was this able to happen. With modern technology, such as television, satellite and the computer ... The Gospel of Truth is now able to reach many that would have never had the opportunity before. Add to that all the missionaries out there and you have the Word of God being shared with almost everyone at this time, who could never have been before.

And you have every soul able to choose whether to or not to partake of the Promise.

Oh, how Son-derful that Heavenly Promise is ... To those who overcome.

James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.

James 2:5

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which He hath promised to them that love Him?

What is this Promise that has Christians strive to stay on the path of Christianity? Most imagine the Promise as being this Scripture.

John 14:2-3

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

But, that is just a small part of the promise. This is the Promise:

1 John 2:25

And this is the Promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life.

God promised eternal life before the world began ...

Titus 1:2

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began ...

Let's go back in time a bit as to discover the origin of this Promise of eternal life ... God said that Adam and Eve could eat from every tree except for the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Genesis 2:15-17

15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

The serpent comes along and says that God was lying that they would not die.

Genesis 3:1-6

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Now, wait just a second ... God said they would die if they ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the serpent (Which was satan Ezekiel 28:13-19) said they would not.

But did they die? Not according to the story of Adam and Eve. Then how does one explain this? Simple ... In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve had eternal life. Just as it is written:

Titus 1:2

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began ...

However ... When they chose by their own free will, to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they were removed from the Garden of Eden. They had essentially traded up the ability to eat from the Tree of Life, which would have given them eternal Life.

Here is proof:

Genesis 3:22-24

22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the Tree of Life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So He drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the Tree of Life.

In other words ... They were allowed to eat from every tree including the Tree of Life which gave them eternal life, but had chosen to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and God sent them out of the Garden of Eden meaning they could no longer eat from the Tree of Life so they would now be able to die.

So, God was telling the Truth when He said ... "But of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." ... The day they chose to eat from that tree, they were now subject to death.

Let's look more into this Tree of Life:

Revelation 22:14

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

What is this Tree of Life and what does it do?

Revelation 22:2

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

The leaves could heal ... I see why one would never die of disease.

Where is the Tree of Life?

Revelation 2:7

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.

The Tree of Life is in Paradise ... Ok ... Back to the Promise of eternal life ... What must we do to inherit eternal life?

John 3:15

That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

We are promised eternal life:

2 Corinthians 5:1

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens.

If we choose to believe in Jesus.

Galatians 3:22

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by Faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

This Faith seals our Salvation and brings forth the Promise.

Ephesians 1:13

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your Salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise ...

So, we need to believe in Jesus ... Sounds easy enough. Anything else? Well a man once asked Jesus this very question ... Here is His response:

Matthew 19:16-22

16 And, behold, one came and said unto Him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And He said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto Him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto Him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Uh huh ... This did not sit well with the man did it? Ask yourself when nobody is around ... Does it sit well with you? Do you follow the commands of Jesus to inherit eternal life? How much have you surrendered or sacrificed for the Lord?

What is Christian Salvation Answer
The Christian Home in Heaven Gift is Free

No matter what you sacrifice or surrender, you will receive a hundredfold more:

Mark 10:29-30

29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the Gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

So you must be willing to surrender all. From your way of life to even your life ... If it came down to it.

John 12:25

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Ponder and pray on what you have learned and hold on to the promise of Christian Salvation receiving eternal life and that Heavenly hope of your new Christian Home.

1 Timothy 6:12
