The End Times Timeline Exploration

Happy you are back ... We now know that God created the earth and everything in it in six days and rested on the Seventh Day. In like manner He created an End Times Timeline of sorts where humans would exist for six thousand years and then rest for one thousand years. This is called the Millennium. This is our Revelation Timeline study with End Times chart to find out how much time has passed as to see how close we are to the End Times. But, remember:

Matthew 24:36

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the Angels of Heaven, but my Father only.

We have been given specific dates throughout the Bible from Creation to Jesus, so we can see how much time has passed from Creation to the resurrection of Jesus. We will then see if we can figure out how many years have elapsed from Jesus to present day. The following the End Times Timeline of the Bible created by Christianity Oasis. It took years to perform the extensive research, so although the legwork has been done for you, the Scripture locations have been given, so that you can confirm the findings.

Let us proceed forth in our the timeline of Revelation voyage into the Timeline of the Bible, from Creation through the Book of Revelation Timeline of Events. The Bible tells us at what age a son was born to the individual before him and gives other dates and years of specific events, throughout the Bible. We will add up all these years and use Adam as the starting point, being the first man in the Bible, and use the term AA (After Adam) to show how many total years had passed from the previous date to the next.

Our Timeline of the Bible will indicate how many years had passed, so you only need a calculator to add up the amount of years that have passed from Adam and Even in the Garden of Eden to the Jesus Christ Crucifixion, Death, Resurrection and Return. This includes the timeline of Revelation which presents absolutely every detail regarding the prophetic End Times events.

The starred items from the End Times Timeline below correspond with the items in the Times chart above with the same amount of stars.

Genesis 5:32

And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

This means Noah began having his three sons at age 500. They were not triplets.

Ham was youngest so they were not all born at age 500.

Genesis 9:24

And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

This is further proven because Arphaxad was born when Shem was age 100 (which was 2 years after the Flood).

Genesis 11:10

These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

Genesis 11:26

And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Terah lived 70 years and begat his three sons.

Like Noah though, they were not all born at same time, this is just when he began having children. They were not triplets.

The End Times Timeline Chart Secret

So, we must search the scriptures a little as to discern Terah's age, when he had Abram (not when he started having his children).

We know that Terah died when he was 205:

Genesis 11:32

And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

The very next verse in the Bible reveals that once Abram's Dad died, God called Abram to leave Haran.

Genesis 12:1

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

This is confirmed again:

Acts 7:4

Then came he [Abram] out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran [Haran]: and from thence, when his father [Terah] was dead, He [God] removed him [Abram] into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran just after Terah died.

Genesis 12:4

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Doing the math ... Terah was 205 when he died.
Abram was 75 when he left Haran after Dad died.

205 - 75 = 130

Terah was 130 years old when Abram was born.

So, the timeline would be ... 2121 B.C. - 130 = 1991 B.C. = Abram's birth.

Genesis 12:4

So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Exodus 12:40-41

40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

Acts 7:6

And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

Galatians 3:16-17

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

The End Times Chart Dates

The time between the promise made to Abraham when he left Haran headed for the Promised land and the Law (Old Covenant) given to Moses in the wilderness after the Exodus was 430 years.

Time of Judges

Acts 13:16-22


16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.
17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.
19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.
20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Paul shares that after the exodus that there were judges for about 450 years.

The End Times Timeline Woe

So, we see that there has been 4000 years from Adam until Jesus was born and 4033 years from Adam to Jesus' resurrection.

The Timeline of the Bible Point of Interest ... Now, comes the tricky part. We must determine how many years have passed from Jesus' resurrection until present day as to continue the Bible Calendar.


Revelation Timeline of Events For Gentiles
The End Times Chart New Covenant

This period of time is known as the "Time of the Gentiles."

Luke 21:24

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Romans 11:25

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

It is the period of time which begins after Jesus' Resurrection but before the promised 1000 years of peace on Earth known as the Millennium. Just before the Millennium, there will be a 7 year time period known as the End Times.

So, from the Time of Jesus' Resurrection to these End Times is the period of time known as the Time of the Gentiles which is a time where Gentiles (individuals from any nation other than Israel) have been given the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior.

The End Times Timeline trivia time ... How do we know the Time of the Gentiles did not begin until the death of Jesus?

Matthew 10:5-7

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

As you can see on our End Times chart, the LORD has allotted a specified period of time for the Gentiles to accept Jesus as their Savior which began at His Resurrection and the start of the New Covenant and continues until the End Times.

Galatians 4:4-5

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

This fulness of time refers to the Time of the Jewish people under law given by Moses.

John 1:17

For the law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.

Of course, if you read Romans, Chapter 11 ... You'll find that one of God's chosen people of Israel can be saved during the time of the Gentiles as well.

The New Covenant (which includes the Gentiles) could not begin until the Testator of it died:

Hebrews 9:15-17

15 And for this cause He [Jesus] is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.


Revelation Timeline of Events Prophecy
The End Times Chart Warning

The New Testament (New Covenant) and Time of the Gentiles began after the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, since the Time of the Gentiles began after the Resurrection of Jesus.

If we look up at our Revelation Timeline of Events Chart, we see that Abraham, who was called by God to become the Father of God's chosen people, was born around 2000 AA. If God's chosen people began with Abraham and the promise continued from about 2000 AA until 4000 AA which is 2000 years then that would suggest that 2000 years would be given as the Time of the Gentiles as well and the start of that 2000 years is when the End Times Timeline of the Bible for Christians begins.

America has a calendar based on 365 days. They call it A.D. (in the year of our Lord) which contrary to popular belief ... A.D. does not stand for "After Death" but instead stands for "anno Domini" which means "Year Dominion" ... Now, we have another issue that arose; The Pope said that he believes that the date most believe Jesus was born in is wrong. Here is the article ...

In short, even the Pope believes the Calendar is off by several years. Keep that in mind for later. So, for now ... We will just say that according to the American calendar, it began when Jesus was born and was crucified and resurrected around 33 AD.

As you can see, if you do the research, the Bible has shared a timeline from Creation to the Revelation Timeline of Events. Let's do some math ... Since it has been 4033 years from Adam to Jesus' Resurrection, we need only determine how much time has passed from 33 A.D. to present day as to find out how many years it has been from Adam to present day.

Timeline of the Bible path ... Let us take the year 2021. From 33 A.D. to the year 2021 A.D. is 1988 years. So let's add the 4033 years to the 1988 years and we get ... 6021 years.

Wow ... Talk about close !!!

Hmmmmmm, that is still 21 years too many though.

Problems

The Jewish Calendar which is what God based His prophecies on, is different than other calendars. It has been changed many times as well as you can see at this online encyclopedia.

The End Times Chart Concern ... There is another minor concern to be addressed within our Timeline of the Bible and that is that the calendar itself has been changed many times, over the last two thousand years, by different entities and nations that came into power, which makes it difficult to determine exactly how many days have truly passed as to find out the exact day, which was probably God's plan since He said nobody knows the day or hour the End Times come upon us.

If you would like to see these changes in the calendars of the past as to see what I am talking about, you can always check out Wikipedia concerning Gregorian calendar. There have been so many changes that it would be impossible to track down the exact date.

It is very strange though that it is approximately 6000 years from Adam to present day. Could it be that the changes in the calendars over the centuries are one reason that we came up with 6021 years? I mean even the Pope disagrees with the date of the birth of Jesus.

Perhaps we do not know the exact date because of what we were told clearly by Jesus:

Matthew 24:36

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the Angels of Heaven, but my Father only.
